Orientation
Students must attend one of the scheduled orientation meetings. Course expectations, syllabi and all textbooks and materials will be distributed at this time. In addition, an introduction to Blackboard, the course management software, will be presented. Students in dual enrollment course do not have to attend these orientation meetings. Dual enrollment course orientation and testing will take place online. Orientation will be held from 9 a.m. ~ noon on June 20 and June 21, 2012. Students will receive a URL, login, and password via email to view the online orientation. Materials (if needed) will be mailed to the students home address.

Testing
Students must report to one of five testing sites to complete periodic assessments to monitor achievement in the online course. Assessments, which will be given from 9 ~ 11:30 a.m., are scheduled for the followings dates:

0.5 Credit Recovery Courses: July 9, July 23 1.0 Credit Recovery Courses: July 9, July 23, Aug. 6 0.5 For Credit Courses: July 9, July 23, Aug. 6, Aug. 20 Requests for makeup testing dates may be granted on an individual basis

I understand that the student must attend orientation, complete all assignments and take exams at the indicated testing site in order to receive credit for the online course(s). Registration and fees (made payable to North Hills School District) are due no later than June 20, 2012. Refunds will not be given once the course begins.
