The Meeting of the Faculty Members of D.M.S. Mandals College of Business Administration, Belgaum was held on Friday the 18th November 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Principals chamber. The following Members were present in the meeting, 1) Shri. Kiran Naik 2) Miss. Menaka Ghorpade 3) Miss. Roopa Jadhav 4) Miss. Shri. Kiran Naik, Principal welcomed the Faculty Members and initiated the discussion on Academic and Co-curricular activities for the year 2011-12 ( even semester ) and the following were resolved. I. The working hours for the full time Faculty is from 7.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and for visiting Faculty is as per schedule and work load assigned to them respectively by the Principal. II. Regarding Time Table Miss. Menaka Ghorpade is requested to prepare it, as per the subject assigned to Faculties by the principal. III. The Faculties are supposed to refer those books which are prescribed by the university in the syllabus as reference books for their subject, other than any other study materials they refer. IV. Two Internal Assessment Exam shall be conducted in the forthcoming even semester for all the BBA students, whereas for BBA 1st year students the Internal Assessment Exam shall be out of 20 marks and for BBA 2nd year and 3rd year students the Internal

Assessment Exam shall be out of 25 marks. The procedure of conducting the Internal Assessment Exam should be strictly followed as per the respective university rules and regulations specified by them in their respective notification. V. The Faculties should submit Model answer papers of the Internal Assessment Question Paper soon after the Internal Assessment Exams are conducted, to the principal. VI. The responsibility of conducting and declaring results of Internal Assessment Exam is assigned to Miss. Roopa Jadhav and Miss. Veena Mohite. VII. The responsibility of forwarding the Internal Assessment Marks and correspondence with respective university in time is assigned to Miss. Menaka Ghorpade. VIII. Miss. Menaka Ghorpade, Miss. Roopa Jadhav, Miss.Veena Mohite shall mentor 20 students each and the remaining 34 students shall be mentored by the principal. IX. Students grievances or any clarification related to Academic should be solved in the class room itself and at any circumstances, students should not be allowed in the staff room. Faculties are advised by the principal to maintain the decorum of the staff room. X. Faculties are asked to take attendance of the students before 5 minutes of the conclusion of their respective class. XI. Parents meet to be organized after the 1st Internal Assessment Result and the responsibility of Parents meet is assigned to Miss. Menaka Ghorpade. XII. According to the discussion, additional responsibility of Faculty Members assigned is as per the following: Events, Press, Publicity and Magazine Miss. Roopa Jadhav Miss. Sandhya Jadhav

The lesson plan by all the Faculties should be submitted and finalized by 30th November 2011 in consultation with the Principal.

XIV.

By the discussion it was decided to print new format of Internal Assessment Answer Books & etc.

XV.

The Principal requested Miss. Menaka Ghorpade to maintain a separate file containing following documents for Faculties General Reference; Time Table.

Syllabus Leave Policy. University Notification in regard to Internal Assessment marks bifurcation and calendar of events. XVI. The Faculties are asked by the Principal to introduce group discussion, role play, case study, assignment, projects in the teaching methodologies in order to make the class interesting. XVII. The dress code for the students is as follows: Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday XVIII. Formals with Blazers Formals Formals with Blazers Formals Formals with Blazers Casuals

The Principal delegated the responsibility of Academic Co-ordinator to Miss. Menaka Ghorpade by reducing one subject work load for which she has to shoulder the responsibility of Academic work assigned by the Principal from time to time. All the faculties have to report to Miss. Menaka Ghorpade for any Academic related work and follow the instructions given by her.

The Faculty Members who are absent for any of the meetings have to personally obtain the information in regard to meeting details through the Faculty Meeting Register available with Miss. Menaka Ghorpade. The meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Shri. Kiran Naik, Principal, D.M.S. Mandals College of Business Administration, Belgaum.
