ASPIRE SPECTRAL ESSENCE EVALUATION & HARMONIC RESOLUTION REDISTRIBUTION

INSTALLATION AND PLAYBACK INSTRUCTIONS PC COMPUTERS Installation 1. Put the CD you received with your session into the CD player of your computer. 2. From the Desktop, go to My Computer. 3. Double-Click (Open up) the CD Player. 4. Double-click on HRTsetu.exe. 5. Follow the instructions and allow it to place items in the suggested folders. 6. If you receive a an error message that says You are about to download a file that is older than one you already have please select NO TO ALL. 7. The software should finish its installation and give a Completed message. 8. Close all windows and return to the Desktop. 9. Double-click My Computer and then double-click the CD player icon. 10. Point at the folder with your name and the date of your session, right-click, and choose Copy. 11. In that same window on the top left, go back one page and double-click the C:\Local Drive icon. 12. Locate and double-click the Harmonic Resolution Folder. 13. Locate and double-click the Matrices Folder (open the folder). 14. Point to the white area next to the Spectral Test folder, right-click, and then choose Paste. 15. In that same window on the top left, go back one page and double-click the !Source folder. 16. Point at the Harmonic Resolution.exe file, right-click, and then choose Create Shortcut (Make Shortcut). 17. Point at the shortcut, left-click, and drag it onto your desktop. Otherwise cut and paste the shortcut onto the desktop if required. Playback Instructions 1. Double-click the shortcut icon to open the program. 2. The Harmonic Resolution splash screen can be removed by clicking on it. The Control Page will then open. 3. On the bottom of the control page there is a pop-up window. Open it with the arrow and then click on your filename and date. The session will load.

4. Choose a Matrix by double-clicking one of the 12 images. 5. Adjust the Orientation slide-bar to the right until you get the desired contrast. 6. Adjust the Partials slide-bars (2) to the right to increase the number of frequencies. 7. Click on the larger image and it will go full screen. 8. If the image in not centered in your screen, change the display resolution of your computer to 800 x 600. 9. Choose a different image and sound each session. 10. Make notes about images (matrices) and sounds (aural renderings) that have powerful effects. 11. Call your facilitator within a week or so for consultation or support as needed. MAC COMPUTERS
1. Go to www.harmonicresolution.com/HRmac.sit.

2. Download the file to your desktop. 3. The file will un-stuff onto your desktop as Harmonic Resolution with a spherical icon. If it does not un-stuff, you must to on-line and do a search for the free trial version of Stuffit, download and install it before continuing. 4. One the software has been installed and un-stuffed, load the CD with your session folder, open the CD icon, and drag the session folder onto your desktop. 5. Open up the program by double-clicking the Harmonic Resolution icon. 6. When the program opens it will ask for the session folder. Direct it to the folder on the desktop with your name and date. 7. Choose one of the 12 matrices. Clicking the SAT button below will saturate the colors. 8. Adjust the partial slide-bars until the desired sound is computed. 9. Click on Compute, then Generate Aural Rendering. To change the sound you must first Stop or Silence the Aural Rendering, before readjusting the slide bars. 10. Clicking the space bar will make the image go full screen. 1024 x 760 is the best resolution to view on the Mac. Clicking the space-bar again will return you to the Control Page.
