1. Precautions and Safety Notices

1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
This monitor is manufactured and tested on a ground principle that a users safety comes first.
However, improper used or installation may cause damage to the monitor as well as to the user.
WARNINGS:
y This monitor should be operated only at the correct power sources indicated on the label on the
rear of the monitor. If youre unsure of the power supply in you residence, consult your local
dealer or Power Company.
y Use only the special power adapter that comes with this monitor for power input.
y Do not try to repair the monitor by yourself, as it contains no user-serviceable parts. Only the
qualified technician can repair it.
y Do not remove the monitor cabinet. There are high-voltage parts inside that may cause electric
shock to human bodies.
y Stop using the monitor if the cabinet is damaged. Have it checked by a service technician.
y Put your monitor only in a lean, cool, dry environment. If it gets wet, unplug the power cable
immediately and consult your closed dealer.
y Always unplug the monitor before cleaning it. Clean the cabinet with a clean, dry cloth. Apply
non-ammonia based cleaner onto the cloth, not directly onto the glass screen.
y Do not place heavy objects on the monitor or power cord.
2. PRODUCT SAFETY NOTICE

Many electrical and mechanical parts in this chassis have special safety visual inspections and
the protection afforded by them cannot necessarily be obtained by using replacement
components rated for higher voltage, wattage, etc. Before replacing any of these components

a. BRT / CONT: Picture background shall become brighter with BRIGHTNESS at its MAX
position, and shall become darker at its MIN position. Contrast of picture shall be changed by
adjusting contrast value.

c. Adjusted Range for H Phase / Pitch: 60 steps / 70 dots
d. Color: Standard Shipping Condition - 6500K Preset Color Mode - 9300K, 6500K, USER.
User Adjustment Mode - Users can adjust each R, G, B color individually.
e. Reset: Screen Auto: Optimize the H/V center, phase and pitch.All Reset: Recall all data to
default value.
f. Language: Users can choose one of the nine languages: English, French, German, Spanish,
Italian, Portuguese, Netherlands, Trad Chinese and Simp-Chinese.
g. Power: Pushing Power button shall cause the monitor to be turned ON and LED to be
illuminated. Pushing Power button again shall cause the monitor to be turned OFF and LED to
be OFF.

4. Circuit Description
4.1 DC to AC inverter
The LIPS comprises a 38 watts dual -Outputs, full range switching power supply and a DC to AC
inverter that for a 19 XGA color TFT-LCD module. This dc-ac inverter designs for 19 fours
CCFL(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp) LCD panels Single lamp current is measured with
current meter for high frequency as show below. .Lamp frequency shall be detached from the
horizontal synchronous frequency and its harmonics as far as possible in order to avoid
interference. The waveform of the inverter output voltage shall be area symmetric and the
designs of our inverters have specification for the modularized lamps. To avoid over-shoot and
inrush current problems, the designs of our inverter have soft-start.
4.2 Video Processor
Video processor consists of Interpolation Control, RGB Gain Control, RGB Offset Control, Hue

NT68623s enhanced interpolation method makes the zoomed display image look more smooth
and comfortable. User can adjust the RGB Gain (Contrast) and RGB Offset (Brightness) by the

provide 16.7 million colors space for 6-bit/color panel. It is recommended to open the dithering
function while a 6-bit panel is used. 68663 provide independently horizontal and vertical zoom
scaler with adjustable zoom factor from 1/4x to 4x. Each of the zoom scaler uses variable
sharpness filter to provide high quality scaling of real-time video and still graphic images.

5.1.5 Function Test Procedure

Use PC check
The input frequency as the above form:
a. Insert the signal and power cable to the monitor and press the third button to open the
monitor's power.
b. Confirm whether LED is getting on,(LED is green when it has the signal),and it can't be
dark and killing the
c. Press 2&5 button at the same time about 3s the OSD menu will show for picture A,check
FW' modify time and panel's type, (the newly FW list you can consult)press the second
button to select "EXIT ",and then press the fourth button to exit the OSD menu.
d. Open Nokia sequentially, confirm whether the picture glimmers, it is rejected that
discontented, whether the picture is in the centre.
e. Whether every function of measuring O.S.D menu separately is normal.
Establishment the Burn In Mode:

a. When all the test is over,pull out the signal cable,press 2&4 button at the same time and
enter burn in mode.The B/I time is 2Hours.

Use a signal generator check(Chroma2160)

a. First comfirm the B/I time,then insert the a signal generator (chroma2160) cable to the
monitor(Insert signal line burn in mode to remove automatically).
b. Please recall the monitor before the operation,and press the 2 , 4 and 5button at the same
time,2s later LED's colour will change from orange to green.Make this movement the
machines platform can't cut out.
c. Picture Test:Follow the following form( Concrete please consult PRG control card)
d. Press the first key and make AUTO ADJUST sequentially,there can't be miscellaneous
news to check the picture interfere such bad phenomena as the lines and appear,whether
the picture is set up in the central authorities.
