How does each of the committees that involve in Malaysia Education system can contribute in providing good curriculum concept in physical and health education?

The concept of NEP is good, but the only question is that how about when it is being implement in real life situation? im sure most of you will be facing a situation where by the policy somehow effect your focus on work. Does anyone has faced that kind of situation?
From my view.. Example.. The situation is, where there are children clubs, junior Scouts . Along with the concept of the children's participation in the school decision. The children participation in decision making process will help them to be a good .The implementation is the transformation of decision into real life situation.

Aims of Government Educational Programme and activities

In Malaysia, they are designed to among others:1. Equip students with the essential skills in a holistic and integrated manner, in order to produce individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced; as well as functionally literate; 2. Inculcate and nurture national consciousness by promoting common ideals, values, aspirations and loyalties to foster national unity and national identity; 3. Produce skilled manpower for economic and national development; 4. Instil desired moral values in students so that they can contribute effectively towards nation building

Q1: MALAYSIAN EDUCATION IN TERMS OF LEGAL,GOAL,OBJECTIVE,SYSTEM AND PHILOSOPHY.. Salam Sir Azizul , Based on my reading, I can say that ........

LEGAL FOUNDATION The education act. 1996 had provided the fundamental basis for curriculum policies in Malaysia.It indicates the specific laws and provisions that give direction to curriculum documents.These regulation are mandatory for all school.. From my reading, I can say that.. all the laws and provisions we must follow.The curriculum had created and GOAL The goal of education in Malaysia is on-going further in developing the potential of individuals in a holistic and integrated manner so as to produced individuals who are intellectually, spiritually, emotionally and physically balanced and harmonious , I can say that the educational goal can help in generate the balanced human who are intelligence in academic and sports .The goal is not only for academic but also for co-curriculum (sport) ..These are all because the human had different ability . OBJECTIVE The objective is to produced Malaysian citizen who are knowledgeable and competent . It aims to produce future generations with the knowledge and skills. This will make Malaysia the country is known all over Malaysia

SYSTEM A uniform system of education in both primary and secondary schools has been established whereby a national curriculum is used in all school. There will have assessment and examination in the of the year.In SK , Bahasa Melayu will be the main language . Beside, SJK (T) and SJK (C) they will use their mother tounge language . But they still learn Bahasa Melayu in their school .

PHILOSOPHY The school curriculum will contribute to the holistic development of the individual full with (mental,emotional,physical,spiritual) . This will make our next generation will be the sample generation throught the world .

Q2: HOW IMPORTANT EDUCATION IN OUR LIFE AND SOCIETY For me , education is very important in our life and society . This education will create a balance human fill up with intellectual, spiritual and physical as outlined in the philosophy of education. It is also important for the next generation in progress of a country. It is important to produce Malaysian citizen who are knowledgeable and competent . It aims to produce future generations with the knowledge and skills. This will make Malaysia the country is known all over Malaysia .

Q3: APPLYING THE CURRICULUM CONCEPT IN PHYSICAL AND HEALTH EDUCATION. As we know , NEP has outlined that every man must have a balanced capability in terms of intellectual, spiritual, emotional and physical . All students, must participate in a physical or sports . Such as co- curiculum activities such club, sports and association . Each student must participate in this activities . Also subject physical education and health. This will make that all human will balance of physical and mental health.
