The conference that took placed today in the halls of ITESM University. This conference was one of the first conferences and the first step of the Plan Torreon. The PLAN TORREON its a series of steps, its a plan that should be the base of the proposal of the new municipality government presided by the person whom the vote determined. This proposal is born from the Instituto Poltico Empresarial (IPE) in english its Institute of Political Enterprises, and its oriented by the search of the collective well-being over any interest of ideological or political character. Essentially it recognizes human beings who deserve to reconquer their city in all the aspects. PLAN TORREON pretends to recover the city with five easy stesps. The first one is to impulse work and defend the economy of the family. The second step is public safety for a more calm and safer place at home and in the street. The third step is the preparation for the growth and progress, the fourth step is more quality of life and the last step is fairness and human development. The conference was given by the architect Salvador Flores Rodriguez. The architect has a degree in architecture, energy and viability by the Metropolitan University of London. Hes a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, he has experience in the construction of residential complexes, and hes partner of the Gebbler Tooth Architects London and received the High Five Award because of his work in the T5 Terminal of the Heatrow airport for project coordination. The conference seemed a little more like a talk about personal overcoming, it was about how to become and be a leader, not to let yourself down by the adversities that life throws you in your way. But the most important thing it was that one can be whatever he wants to be, one can become the person he dreamed he could become, as long as he does what hes supposed to do. Personally the conference disappointed me, more due to the fact that I expected more of the conference. I expected solutions of a new infrastructure in Torreon, nevertheless, it was a very touching talk that makes you think that you can do whatever you want and that nothing can demolish you. What the architect Salvador Flores contributed in the conference was a method that is guaranteed by ISO 9000. The method is called Single Model Enviroment (SME), that is an unique model of work where all parts communicate, they interchange information and they have access to the same data. Its a model that regulates itself to give at the end a final product. The information is trasmitted to five areas and they are passed no there to the SME. The SME is the one that provides the competitiveness and gives the final product. In order to optimize and explode this method is to create an other area that supervises all the other areas. Obtaining in conclusion a dynamic and easy to operate model.
