Twoface Feline
Is this funny or iconic?
Aptly called a Janus Cat, pertaining to the Roman god with two faces -- hes back in the news today, thanks to an Associated Press pickup of a Worcester Telegram & Gazette feature on this amazing feline Regardless, this cat will always be a great story.
Youve probably heard of Two-Face in Batman. But you would have never imagined theres an honestto-goodness real deal! Well, meet Janus, your twoface cat. Heres one instance when being two-faced isnt a bad thing, especially when it lands you in the Guinness records for defying death.
Frank and Louie is one cool cat, born in Massachusetts 12 years ago with separate faces and given little chance of surviving beyond a few hours. Thats what they said back then. But look at him now!
Fantastic
Andrey Pavlov, a Russian photographer with commendable theatrical background chose a unique way of storytelling combining both the media. He devotedly studied the lives of ants, and planted histrionic props on their trails. There he photographed them live as if in a drama or movie. Except for the planned stage settings, all the rest is natural; no photo editing gimmicks involved, vouches the photographer.
Ants!
Come see the great moments of simple joviality, grant imagination, poignancy, and even some sublime philosophising.

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright no matter how gray the day may appear. I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun even more. I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit alive and everlasting. I wish you enough pain so that even the smallest of joys in life may appear bigger. I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting. I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess. I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate them, a day to love them but then an entire life to forget them. TAKE TIME TO LIVE and enjoy enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.
tanding near the security gate at the airport, a mother and daughter hugged each other and the mother said, I love you and I wish you enough.
The daughter replied, Mom, our life together has been more than enough. Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom. They kissed and the daughter left. You could see the mother wanted and needed to cry. The person nearest her tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed it by asking, Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?. Yes, I have, the man replied. Forgive me for asking, but why is this a forever good-bye?. I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is - her next trip back will be for my funeral, she said. When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say, I wish you enough. May I ask what that means?. She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail and she smiled even more. When we said , I wish you enough, we were wanting the other person to have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain them. Then turning toward the man, she shared the following as if she were reciting it from memory.

e all want to keep our children safe and secure and help them live to their full potential. Knowing how to prevent leading causes of child injury, like poisoning, is a step toward this goal. Every day, children all over the world ages 0 to 19 are treated in an emergency department, and two children die, as a result of being poisoned. Its not just chemicals in your home marked with clear warning labels that can be dangerous to children. Everyday items in your home, such as household cleaners and medicines, can be poisonous to children as well. Active, curious children will often investigate and sometimes try to eat or drinkanything thats left out and within their reach.
he T lity ea R
Thankfully, there are ways you can help poison-proof your home and protect the children you love.
Lock them up. Keep medicines and toxic products, such cleaning solutions, in locked or childproof cabinets. Read the label. Follow label directions and read all warnings when giving medicines to children. Dont keep it if you dont need it. Safely dispose of unused, unneeded, or expired prescription drugs. Be aware that if you dispose of unused medicines, they can be mixed with coffee grounds or kitty litter to make them less appealing to children.

Carving
aking an ordinary phone book, Alex Queral carves a face into this object of so many faceless names. With the book, a very sharp X-ACTO knife, a little pot of acrylic medium to set detail areas and a great deal of talent, Queral literally peels away the pages like the skin of an onion to reveal the portrait within. Once the carving is complete, he will often apply a black wash to enhance the features and then seal the entire book with acrylic to preserve the work. However, he never loses the line registration; and the book remains quite pliable.

This book started as a personal project of MASASHI KAWAMURA in summer 2007, and was soon published from a Japanese bookstore Utrecht. Its a flipbook, but rather than seeing animation, it creates a 3D rainbow in your hand. Since being published it has been featured on Japanese TV, Newspapers, major news & blogsites like yahoo news, coolhunting and fffffound. This book won the NY ADC silver cube.
A new concept flip book that will create a 3D rainbow instead of an animation. Really cool! You can buy it online from several selected book stores, Utrecht(JPN) http://www.utrecht.jp/person/?p=316, Stereohype(UK) http://bit.ly/2tCzR6, Printed Matter(US) http://bit.ly/925cPH. The 36-page book has an image of the color spectrum against a black background on each page, creating the illusion of an arced rainbow hovering above the pages as the pages flip by. If you are resourceful enough, heck, you can make one of your own.
