Charging - Remove the cover on the charging port and connect the charger. - When the charger is connected with power on or off , the headset will turn off.
The status indicator will show a solid red light while the headset is charging.

- The keys on the HBS-200 will not function while the device is charging. - It takes 3 hours to fully charge the headset. - When charging is complete, the status indicator will turn blue. Low battery
The status indicator will blink red when the battery power is low. When the battery is not charged, the status indicator will blink red, then turn off. When this happens, the battery needs to be charged.

Power on
Press and hold the PWR/TALK key for 2 seconds The power will turn on and a booting tone will play .

Power off
Press and hold the PWR/TALK key for more than 5 seconds. A shutdown tone will play , the Bluetooth link will be disconnected, and the power will turn off.

Easy Pairing
With the Power off, press and hold the PWR/TALK button for 2 seconds, to turn on the HBS-200. The Headset will enter Auto-Reconnect mode, for 8 seconds (If your handset has been previously paired with the headset, the headset will automatically reconnect to the handset, when the HBS-200 is powered on.) If the HBS-200 does not automatically reconnect to your handset, after 8 seconds, the HBS-200 will automatically enter Paring Mode. You will hear a short beep and the status indicator will blink blue and red. Using your handset, find the Bluetooth Menu and search for or add new devices. Select LG HBS-200 from the list of devices and pair it with your handset. When asked for the Pass/PIN code during the pairing procedure, please enter 0000 (4 Zeros). Once pairing has completed successfully, you will hear a beep. After pairing successfully, be sure to Connect to the LG HBS-200. If you want to pair with other devices in the future, the Headset must be placed into Pairing Mode. If the HBS-200 is in Pairing mode for three minutes without being connected to a handset, the HBS-200 will automatically turn off.

With the power off, press and hold the PWR/ TALK key for more than 5 seconds. You will hear a short beep and the status indicator will blink blue and red. Using your handset, find the Bluetooth Menu and search for or add new devices. Select LG HBS-200 from the list of devices and pair it with your handset. LG HBS-200 When asked for the Pass/PIN code during the pairing procedure, please enter 0000 (4 Zeros). Once pairing has completed successfully, you will hear a beep. After pairing successfully, be sure to "Connect" to the HBS-200.

Connecting
[Call connection] Briefly press the PWR/ TALK key to access Voice Command. Press and hold the PWR/ TALK key for 1 second(you will hear a beep) to access Last Number Redial. To end a call, press the PWR/ TALK key. PWR/ TALK [Music connection] To play music, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP key. To pause music, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP key while music is being played. To stop music, press the PLAY/PAUSE/STOP key for one second. [Auto Reconnect ] When the HBS-200 and your handset are separated by a distance of 33 feet(10meters) or more, the headset will disconnect. When the handset and HBS-200 are brought back within the required distance, the HBS-200 will automatically reconnect with the handset. If the headset and handset do not automatically reconnect when they are back in the required range, briefly press the PWR/TALK key to reconnect manually.

Volume control
Press the VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN keys to adjust the speaker volume. There are eight levels of speaker volume. When audio streaming starts, the preset values of the volume will be automatically applied. The volume that you adjust with VOLUME UP or VOLUME DOWN keys at this time is the music streaming volume.

Making a Call While connected to the HBS-200, if you make a call from the Handset, the call will (subject to phone settings) be automatically transferred to the Headset. If not automatically transferred, manually transfer the call by pressing the PWR/ TALK key on the HBS-200. Voice Dialing* Activate voice dialing by briefly pressing the PWR/TALK key. Last Number Redial Press and hold the PWR/ TALK key for 1 second(you will hear a beep), to access last number redial.

1. Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth Headset, HBS-200, is a radio transmitter and receiver.When in operation, it communicates with a Bluetooth equipped mobile device by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the frequency range 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz. The output power of the radio transmitter is low, 0.001 watt. Your Bluetooth Headset is designed to operate in compliance with the RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used any compatible LG Electronics mobile phone.

4. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one that has not been used for a long period of time could have reduced capacity the first few times it is used. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures, never above +60(+140F) or under -20(-4F). For maximum battery capacity, use the battery in room temperature. If the battery is used in low temperatures, the battery capacity will be reduced. The battery can only be charged in temperatures between +10 (+50 F) and+45(+113F ).
