It is a premier Institute of national and international repute, devoted to research in various aspects of atmospheric sciences with emphasis on tropical meteorology, particularly on the Climate Change and Indian Monsoon. The Institute has excellent infrastructural facilities such as high performance computers, modern library, workshop and other scientific support. The Institute has undertaken construction of a building at its site. It has also in its premises office building, staff quarters, Guest House etc. The buildings need proper electrical maintenance and the construction work which also consists of electrical cabling needs supervision. In order to enhance the efficiency, it is proposed to recruit one Assistant Engineer (A.E.) Electrical on short term contract basis initially for a period of one year on a fixed salary of Rs.21000/- per month.
