Nestle Pakistan
Nestl Pakistan Ltd is a subsidiary of Nestl S.A. A company of Swiss origin headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. It is a food processing company, registered on the Karachi and Lahore stock exchanges and operating in Pakistan since 1988 under a joint venture with Milk Pak ltd and took over management in 1992 Headquartered in Lahore, the Company operates four production facilities. Two of its factories in Sheikhupura and Kabirwala are multi product factories. One factory in Islamabad and one in Karachi produce bottled water. Through its effective marketing and a vast sales and distribution network throughout the country, it ensures that its products are made available to consumers whenever, wherever and however. Nestl Pakistan operates in many ways but people, products and brands are the main flag bearers of the Companys image, and we continue to enhance the quality of life of people. Nestl Pakistan now operates the biggest milk collection operation in Pakistan, Currently; Nestl Pakistan collects milk from an estimated 190,000 farmers spread over 145,000 sq Km's in the province of Punjab and Sindh. RECRUITMENT PROCEDURE AT NESTLE PAKISTAN The recruitment process is divided into following stages here AT Nestle Pakistan; APPLICATION : Resume is required online with all the details regarding the previous job ,qualification and the previous employers detail SELECTION : selection stage is further divided into following stages INTERVIEW ; minimum 2 interviews are conducted, first by the recruitment team and the other by the line manager ASSESMENT AND TESTING; there are some positions for which following assessment test are used Psychometric Test, this test covers the personality testing, abstract, verbal, numerical, reasoning and motivational profiling. The psychometric test helps in evaluating the candidates feasibility to the job applied for Case Study, A case is given to the candidate so as to analyze it and make a presentation on it. Verbal feedback is given. It is an opportunity for the candidate to express his experience Medical Assessment. REFERENCE AND BACKGROUND CHECK Two verbal references are taken by the recruitment team, from previous employer. Documents are also checked by reference OFFER ; First a verbal offer is send and after the acceptance written letter is forwarded for the successful candidate approval The recruitment process at Nestle is very selective. It total hiring per year is usually below 20 to 30 %( management position). First priority for filling is foe existing staff. Turnover rate at Nestle is very low. Hence the employees of Nestle are very much satisfied. Nestle also hires fresh graduates through their management trainee program. The selection is very tough and competitive, it consist of tests and several interviews.
