Welcome to BioFach India together with India Organic

India the most important organic producer!

India is preparing to become the most important organic producer and a large consumer market. So the time is ready for all organic players - producers as well as traders - to develop and enrich the Indian market. The increasing awareness for the importance of high quality food and nutrition among the Indian population and the rising income levels are a good back up for this development. Indian farmers and consumers have identified organic as a high potential movement for a better living and farming. Big Indian market players as Sresta are investing into their organic business. According to the International Competence Centre for Organic Agriculture (ICCOA) the Indian organic industry expects its total turnover, including exports, to go up from 67.5 Mio INR in 2010 to 400 Mio INR by 2012. This is your opportunity to invest into the Indian organic market and to promote your organic products at the high quality platform for the organic industry. BioFach India together with India Organic is hosting all Indian organic players and offers communication, education and last but not least business. In November 2011, 171 (2010: 103) satisfied exhibitors and 7,529 highly interested visitors (2010: 2,860) - including trade buyers from Germany and France - supported the decision to relocate. Buyers from the trade came to our stand, and representatives from the catering trade were also interested in our products. Many people poured into the hall immediately after the opening and we were well occupied all the time. We leave with super impressions of BioFach India, which compares really well with other European events.

Ewald Redl, Managing Director, Sonnentor (A): Our aim was to publicize our brand and simply everything was right. We had not expected so many visitors. We made some good sales contacts.
