The client provides a seamless user experience by automatically connecting and authenticating the user to wireless networks, and includes a complete directory of Wi-Fi Hotspots via the Location Finder and dial POPs via the Access Directory.

1.1. Compatibility
The QuickLink Mobile allows the Service Provider or Enterprise to provide the broadest range of services and enables roaming between different technologies. The QuickLink Mobile is compatible with hundreds of data devices, allowing users to connect with embedded devices, aftermarket PCMCIA or USB devices, and mobile handsets. Along with device compatibility, the QuickLink Mobile also provides a broad range of operating system (OS) compatibility. The QuickLink Mobile is compatible with Windows 2000 (End of Life on Jun30th, 2008), Windows XP, Vista and Windows Mobile, providing the full set of features and capabilities across all Operating systems.

The Smith Micro QuickLink Mobile provides a customized branding engine allowing you to tailor the user experience to your service or corporate identity. The QuickLink Mobile also has a full set of features, including the Service Provider Interface (SPI) and the Central Configuration Server (CCS), which allow the entire service to be branded regardless of the network that the user is connected to.
