NextEdge is a Software Development and Services center, the majority stake of which is held by Mindscape, Dubai (a 100% Subsidiary of MashreqBank, Dubai website www.mashreqbank.com) Mindscape used to be the IT unit of MashreqBank, till it was separated from MashreqBank and became an independent organization supporting MashreqBank, and handling external customers. I was part of the Oracle HR & Payroll team implementing e-business suite of Oracle. In addition to the daily support work for MashreqBank, Al Ghurair Group of Companies and Masafi Mineral Water, I worked in multiple projects at multiple customer sites: Doha Bank Doha, Qatar Dubai Islamic Bank Dubai, UAE Daman Insurance Abu Dhabi, UAE For these customers, we implemented the following Modules: Oracle Human Resources Oracle Payroll Oracle Discoverer Oracle Web ADI The functions I was involved in were: Prepare the System Requirement Specification after analyzing the business practices Map the requirement to the application and propose work around for gaps identified during study Localization of the Oracle UK Payroll as per Qatar Requirements Prepare format for Data Conversion and writing APIs for data loading Complete setup of HR & Payroll which includes setup of Key Flex Fields, Descriptive Flex Fields, setting up business group, Special Information Types, Job, Position, Grade, Grade Rate, People Group, Address, Payroll, Payment Method, Element, Element Link, Global Values, Fast Formulas, Formula Results, User Define Functions, Table Structure and Table Values. Complete Payroll Cycle with Pay processing, Costing and Retro Pay. Developed a custom BACS program through which the payments are paid to the employee as per the payroll run. Also this generated their corresponding costing and balancing lines of the salary hitting their corresponding ledger accounts as the client were using legacy GL system. Defining responsibilities and attaching it to users and other system administration jobs Written SOP & documented system setup Worked on Data Conversion from legacy system to Oracle apps 11i using Data Load API. Account: Fidelity Employer Services Company (FESCo), the HR & Benefits outsourcing arm of Fidelity Investments, the worlds leading providers of financial services. FESCo uses the ERP packages of Oracle HRMS to maintain Employee records, payroll and benefit plans for its clients and their respective employees. Working in this account requires an exhaustive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare industry with respect to carrier & coverage policies and the various statutes in place as well as the intricacies of the OAB and payroll package. Project Details: A. Multi Client Analysis and Support Team The project would take care of the Support and Analysis of the system. This team handles the post-implementation analysis of issues, subsequent fixes and impact analysis for the issues across different business groups (different clients). The Issues are raised in eligibility, enrollment, and coverage of benefits provided, forms, reports, payroll, element entries, carrier extracts, payroll extracts, AP/GL extract, etc Our responsibilities are to analysis the issue and report the fix type and impact analysis to the client. On approval of the client we fix the issue and sign it off to the Quality Assurance team for system testing. Job Responsibilities: Analysis of eligibility, enrollment and coverage issues, forms, reports, payroll, elements, extracts, etc. Reporting the type of fix required and their impact on the system Fix the issue on clients approval Communication with onsite coordinators and consulting with other teams. Pfizer Annual Enrollments Quality Assurance project This project is about System Testing the modifications in the design and eligibility mentioned in the PAM by the client: Pfizer. Pfizer provides its employees with the medical and life insurances depending upon their eligibility corresponding to there position, grade, etc... The testing is for the eligibility and rates of these coverages depending upon the profiles. Job Responsibilities: Module leader for the team. Creating Test plans and test plans review. Title : Khazana Hyderabad Infosys Portal Period : From December 2004 to Till Date Platform: ASP, HTML, JavaScript, VB Script, Java, IIS and Ms Access Project Details: This is an in-house Project for Hyderabad Infosys Technologies Ltd. This Project is basically a intranet portal, which gives all the information about Hyderabad Infosys and have all useful tools which is used for in-house purpose. We have made some significant tools like survey tool, quiz tool, suduko game a day, daily Poll, hourly news, cricket score, Chat with DC head, Effort estimation tool and lot more I was the technical lead for this team. We won the Best Enabling Team award from our DC Head. This project was done on extra hours and weekends. This is a voluntary effort and not an employer requirement.

Polaris Software Lab Title: Ready Credit System Report for Citibank India. Period: From August 2003 to February 2004 Platform: Oracle 9i, C , Pro*c, Unix Project Details: Ready Credit is one of the special facilities given to the corporate customers of Citibank. The system has five databases and more than 1 Million of customers. We need to generate a report on daily basis for various conditions to monitor the execution of the system. Dynamic SQL was used where the query maintained in the database was executed for each database and a single report was generated across databases and mail the report to the reporting authorities maintained in the database. Title: Banking Early Alert Tracking System for Citibank India. Period: From June 2003 to August 2003 Platform: Oracle 9i, Pro*c, Java Servlet, Unix. Project Details: The objective of this system is to track all customers and extract if any fraud is attempted and intimate the Bank. We where involved in migration of this system to oracle 9i and using iPlanet as the webserver. Migrated the system to be compactable for both IE and Netscape. Re-engineering was done where we need to change the system functionality as per the requirements.
