to understand you mentality Why the bible is supposedly good morality When it is mostly agony there, tragedy Why the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy While a dead gay kid is only a casualty When will you see it is insanity Actually you should be torn About the kids who are forlorn Because of the way they were born You shouldnt ignore em Kids who are ostracized Ones who run home teary eyed They need someone in which to confide Someone wise to advise the one who cries So these kids know they belong, no more suicide And before you say it, theyre not confused And this is not something you choose Something that is a choice Is how you use your voice Dont misuse it, you might lose it Dont abuse it or use religion to excuse it You should stop kneeling Stop praying for healing Start showing true feeling Its quite appealing But the more I rant The more your belief in religion augments Which leaves you hell bent On trying to get me to repent To a god that I find abhorrent You want me to get into heaven You think Ill just learn my lesson Then Ill repent to God And my eyes will glisten If youre so strong in your religion And youre such a good Christian And your god can disprove any objection Then why are you afraid of a simple question
