Shemini Eighth: 2012 Lev. 9:1 11:47.

I.

The seemingly innocuous beginning to this Parsha is shrouded in the Hidden messages found within the Hebrew numbers and letters. For instance, there are 42 letters in this verse. This should immediately grab out attention: Why? Because the factors of 42 (6x7) are numbers representing the connection between YHVH (7) and Man (6). It is also eternally connected to the Anti-Messiah and his 3 1/3 year 42 month reign of terror upon the earth and lastly, the 42 stations of Israels journey in the Wilderness that also correspond to those same 42 months! The Sages also contend 42 is intertwined with creation. For when YHVH speaks creation into being

is used. (Gen. 1:3). The numeric value of this phrase? 25. When He sees His work it is described as good - towb, a value
the Hebrew phrase, Let there be, of 17. The total produces 42. It is not a mere coincidence then, that the first phrase of this Parsha begins the same: translated as: and it came to pass or - let there be. If this premise is true then our conclusion should be a connection here to creation and of course since the title begins with the word Shemini 8th, a new creation or a new (b)reshiyth_

, beginning! Lets see.

The overarching theme of Creation is the intent of YHVH to create by releasing His word/Torah/Seed. The number 8 in Hebrew is spelled, (#8083) from the root (Shamen), "to make fat," "cover with fat," "to super-abound." As a participle it means "one who abounds in strength," etc. As a noun it is "superabundant fertility," "oil," etc. So that as a numeral it is the superabundant number. As seven was so called because the seventh day was the day of completion and rest, so eight, as the eighth day, was over and above this perfect completion, and was indeed the first of a new series, as well as being the eighth. When the whole earth was covered with the flood, it was Noah "the eighth person" (2 Peter 2:5) who stepped out on to a new earth to commence a new order of things. "Eight souls" (1 Peter 3:20) passed through it with him to the new or regenerated world. Hence, too, circumcision was to be performed on the eighth day (Genesis 17:12) and The firstborn was to be given to YHVH on the eighth day (Exodus 22:29-30).

It is also fitting that we find ourselves in the midst of counting the Omer the 50 day period between Passover and Shavuot. Thus, Gen. 1:3 should not surprise us by having the same root word, #559,

'amar, a verb meaning to say, to tell. As a

noun it means word, speech. Since the letter Ayin (#6016, `omer a sheaf of grain, a unit of measure) is etymologically interchangeable with the Alef, the obvious link between to say or speak and a sheaf of grain is made. Our words, like sheaves are harvested! The law of sowing and reaping! The number 8 appears throughout the Torah portion to further signify the Covenantal seal upon this number. For instance: The first 6 verses are an introduction to the preliminary steps Aaron is to take before the beginning of the in-depth description of the rituals. These verses contain 80 Hebrew words ending with YHVH. The total number of offerings for the 8th day is 8. In addition, the 3 chapters dealing with priestly initiation and installation and the subsequent events from Ch. 8 Ch. 10 contains 80 verses. From the first word of Ch. 8 to the last word of Ch. 9 there are 888 words. Another hint is seen in the festival of Chanukah the oil lasting 8days, which is the length of time required to press, prepare, and consecrate fresh oil. Incidentally, Yahshua spends time in Gethsemane, the Oil Press on the 80th Jubilee! Addressing the Calendar. II. The Rabbis teach this eighth day was the first day of the month Abiv or Nissan, making this a Rosh Chodesh or New Moon event as well. Lets examine this term: Rosh, #7218, ro'sh, as a noun can mean head, person, and chief, to shake the head. It can also indicate the source or beginning. Another definition spelled the same means poison, bitterness, gall. These same letters arranged into #781, Aras (Alef-Shin-Resh) mean to betroth or pledge in marriage. It is usually accompanied with the Brides Price. This Parsha connects us to the month of Nissan/Aviv, the month of redemption. Followed by the 50 days of preparation for the betrothal at Sinai!

Chodesh, #2320, chodesh, new moon, to renew, restore, new, fresh. The numeric value of chodesh = 312, the same as #3001, yabas, a verb meaning to be dry, withered. The feminine ending (hey) forms the word #3004, yabbasah, and means dry land. In each instance of the bitter waters judgment of the Harlot Bride, (The waters separated from the Land Gen. 1:9, Noahs flood, The Red Sea Crossing, The Jordan River Crossing) - the removal of the waters Seed, resulted in the withering of the womb, and until Messiah paid the penalty fertility was not restored! Tangentially, the word yabas (Yod-Bet-Shin) is etymologically similar to, #2982, Ybuwc, (1Chron. 11:4) the original name of Jerusalem. Jebus is defined as meaning threshing place, from #947, bus, to tread down, to destroy. Curiously, it sounds like the Hebrew word for Shame. How apropos - the Place of sifting, destruction, withering and infertility is changed into Jeru (Yarah to shoot an arrow Torah) Salem (Shalom Peace). Torah-Peace. The 2-letter root, YodResh is also seen in #3391, yerah, a masc. noun meaning month, a measure of time. Thus, while Israel was in her monthly menstrual cycle and infertile, (The Niddah or dark phase of the Moon) the Living Torah Messiah brought her Shalom/Peace in the Month of Peace Nissan! The New Moon thus representing the Bride who has been changed from one shrouded in darkness into one clothed in the Light of His Presence. It exemplifies a new beginning for her as well, being connected to the gestational cycle and the dark or menses niddah cycle - changing into one of fertility and ovulation! Because of the advent of artificial light the moons phases dont have the same effect on the female cycle. Yet, it is undeniable the Festivals which are regulated by the lunar cycle are eternally connected to the ovulatory cycle. Thus, who must be realigned? Lets take a short aside here: III. The lunar cycle is 28 days as are most menstrual cycles. It would seem intentional then, for creation (Gen.1:1) to begin with 28 Hebrew letters. Day 1 Day 7, the 8th day of New Beginnings is the first day that conception is made possible! Ironically, of the 22 Hebrew letters only 11, which symbolize division, subversion, are used in this first verse of Torah. Of those used more than once, they are the same letters in order of occurrence, as seen in the first word: Bet, Resh, Alef, Shin, Yod, Tav (Breshiyth) then, Hey, Mem. If we look at the gematria of the 11 letters not used (Gimmel, Dalet, Zayin, Chet, Tet, Kaf, Nun, Samech, Ayin, Pey, Qof) their total = 401 which is written ALEF-TAV! The value of those used twice = 913. Remember, 613 represents the Torah and the number 300, to Cover, kopher, to atone for. Hey =

5, Mem = 40 for a total of 45, the value of Adam. Thus, the chaos brought by Lucifer in Gen. 1:1, 2 caused the earth to be cursed made Niddah - resulting in the AlefTav being introduced in order to cover, atone for the Adam! The vehicle of choice to introduce the Messiah into the world? The waters of the womb of the Woman, again connecting us to Gen. 3:15. This verse has 62 letters to remind us of the value of #5080, nadach, to thrust out, to expel, to banish. Though Adam and Eve are thrust out of Eden the inference here is to the seed of the Woman and the Serpent, Cain being the first, to be banished from the Presence of YHVH! 62 [6+2 = 8] the number of new beginnings and the Hebrew letter Chet, which fences off and banishes those who are outside of the House! We see this pattern of restoration in the 8th day, Shemin (i), My Shemen the Day the Shemen, Oil, Seed, Word of YHVH is introduced into the womb when it is first ready to conceive! The Fire From YHVH. IV. The next significant event is seen in Lev. 9:24: And there came a fire out from before the LORD Vatetse esh milifney YHVH

Two things I want to focus on: #1. The Fire & #2. Where it came from. Fire, #784,

'esh, fire. It is cognate with the word for man Ish, and bears

our attention. *Note its numeric value of 301, the same as #4501, mnowrah. It is also worth remembering Lev. 21:9 "And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire." Fire or the Menorah Light was introduced first in Gen. 1:3 to judge creation and Lucifer, who profaned the Father. Pay attention to the word for profane, #2490, chalal, meaning to profane, (especially in a sexual manner) to pierce, to play the pipe, to wound. For this, she is to be burnt, #8313, seraph, to burn. It is also used as a noun for a serpent (Numbs. 21:5, 6). In this example, Israel is burned with the fiery serpents because our soul loatheth this light bread. The word for light, #7052,

qloqel, worthless, miserable. It is from the root of #7043,

qalal, which infers to slight, curse, speak ill of. It can also infer to be polished, burnished, to gleam. If you note the two-letter roots of our principal words Chalal and Qalal, they are linguistically similar. Because Israel spurns the Bread of Affliction Messiah, who would be burnished on their behalf, the law of sowing and reaping brings their own fiery words upon their heads. From Beforemilifney. The base word here is #6440, paniym, a face, before the face. Fire emanates from the MOUTH OF YHVH! It is His Word that consumes. If we break the word apart, the Pey-Nun root forms #6434, pen, which modifies gates. I.E. the corner gate. The Yod-Mem can mean a large body of waters. Again hinting of the Waters of Jealousy that issue forth from the Mouth of YHVH to judge His Bride. This leads us into the next chapter where two of the sons of Aaron (Light/Fire Bringer) are consumed by fire. Nadab and Abihu: These two sons bring strange Fire before YHVH: Nadab, #5070, Nadab, from a root meaning to incite, to impel, to urge. His vocation as Priest would make the object of his incitement, that of worship of YHVH. It is peculiar to note the reverse spelling of his name Bet, Dalet, Nun, Bedan, the name of a Judge of Israel and it means. The House (is) Judged, or In Judgment. You will also remember the 2-letter root, Nun Dalet, the same root as Niddah nod or nuwd. It can mean to wander, a vagabond, to stray from. Another interesting usage is that of #5067, ned, a noun meaning a heap of waters as in the Red Sea and the Jordan River. By understanding the Hebrew mind and the language, we can see a prophetic declaration of warning! If one incites or urges another to wander or stray from Torah, the Heap of Waters, the Bitter Waters of Jealousy are waiting! Abihu, #30, 'Abiyhuw', he is my father. Again, the specific vocation of Abihu, would infer that YHVH is the Father spoken of. The gematria of his name is 25, one short of the value of YHVH. You can see the Yod, Hey, Vav, but the last Hey (Breath, word, revelation) is replaced by AlefBet-Alef 4, a door or gate opened. The other letters total 21. Throughout Torah 21 has been associated with the likes of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, of whom it is said 21 times, he "made Israel to sin". There were 21 major rebellions of Israel during their wilderness journey. By negating the Hey, the

Breath, the word of YHVH, Abihu opened the door for rebellion and another one who would attempt to Father. The Serpent. It also bears mentioning the gematria of both their names. Nadab = 56, Abihu = 25, for a total of 81. This is a powerful number: 8+1=9, 9x9=81. Nine is the number of Judgment, finality, the cutting off of man. Interestingly, the sum of all the 22 Hebrew letters equals 4995. 5x999! We see the message of Torah 5 representing Grace Faith and obedience, or 9 judgment! The last verse of the previous chapter 9 reveals that the Fire of YHVH had fallen on the Olah offering - that specific sacrifice to Cover the Nakedness of those who offered it. This term is associated with exposing the bed and thus the bride of the Father. Additionally, the fire fell on the Fat, #2459,

cheleb, the part of the

offering specifically reserved for YHVH. The root, Lamed-Bet, lev, spells heart, while the Chet infers that which is fenced off (the #8) and protected. However, the Hebrew letters, Chet Lamed, spells Chol, a noun meaning profane, polluted. The picture painted of these letters reveal: When the Offering is made the fire of YHVH consumes what is rightfully HIS, He wants the HEART fenced off from what had become profane and polluted by having been offered to other gods! The people fall on their faces, singing /shouting in obedience and return Teshuvah! The Gematria of Cheleb = 40, the number associated with trials, testing. The number 40 is the product of 5 and 8, and points to the action of grace (5), leading to and ending in revival and renewal (8). Again, connecting us to the title of this Parsha! I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me This statement (Lev. 10:3) is connected to the judgment of Aarons two sons and their failure to sanctify themselves before coming to YHVH. While verse 9 cites a prohibition against being intoxicated and coming before YHVH. In addition, the Parsha also includes a later prohibition for consumption of certain foods. It would seem each of these; Offering Strange Fire, being intoxicated and consuming unclean things all affect our being in a condition to sanctify YHVH and are somehow intertwined in the actions and subsequent deaths of Aarons Sons. The Parsha ends

V.

where the same thing is reiterated in Lev. 11: 44 47. It would seem while in Egypt, Israel engaged in each of the above. Lets look at Lev. 10:3: Nigh, #7138, qarowb, near or nigh. Indicative of a personal relationship. The same letters rearranged, Bet-Vav-Qof-Resh, means a Shepherd. If we drop the Vav, Bet-Qof-Resh, spells beqar, meaning to seek out, to search for, to consider. It can also mean daybreak, morning the light when one is able to search. It can also refer to cattle, specifically cloven-hoofed animals! Thus, Those who come nigh YHVH to seek Him out, to search for Him, to consider Him, must come in/with the LIGHT TORAH. The Shepherd feeds the Flock in/with the Light, thus making them clean! Unclean animals are connected with darkness. When we see the word eating, we must realize it is the type and shadow of the act of absorbing within ones own being some spiritual work or influence from without either Light or Darkness! Eating infers to become ONE with what is consumed, either were clean or we become scavengers, predators, or creatures of the night, darkness. 2 Cor. 6: 14 17.
