Now days modeling by using CAD software is becoming an essential part in design and manufacturing industries. CATIA is one of the popular software used for modeling because its simplicity and wide features. In this project modeling of QUICK ACTING HOLD DOWN CLAMP is done by using CATIA V5 R-17. Process of modeling is large and hence the module is divided into following major sub modules. i. ii. iii. iv. v. vi. Part selection and collecting the relative information Taking the dimension of various components Drawing measured components by CATIA(V5 R17) Assemble the above components Drafting of assembly Project report and presentation
