The OHSAS 18001 standard is an occupational health and safety (OH&S) standard. Use it to establish your occupational health and safety management system (OHSMS). This page presents a preview of OHSAS 18001. It does not present the entire plain English standard. OHSAS 18001 defines a set of occupational health and safety management system requirements. These requirements are listed in sections 4.1 to 4.6. Therefore, the following OHSAS 18001 material starts with section 4.1.
