Candidates must have ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in specific trades

their qualifications, However, they must note that the
written test for post codes 03,04 & 05 may be held on one
single day, written test for post codes 06 & 07 may be held
on one single day and written test for post codes 08, 09 &
10 may be held on one single day. Written examination of
balanceposts will be held on different dates. As such
candidates applying for more than one post must keep
this combination in mind.

o Qualification : - As prescribed above. Candidates who
are appearing at the qualifying exam, passing of which
would render them educationally qualified for these
posts but have not been informed of the results, will

Job Profile : The job of Station Controller/Train
Operator is inter-changeable in nature as per the
requi rement of the Corporati on and i t i ncl udes
operating the train, looking after the affairs of Metro
Stati ons i ncl udi ng CCC, Depot Control Centres,
Operation Control Centres etc. in shift duty including
night shift. The job requires highest standard of
medical fitness, including naked vision Of 6/6, the
details of which are also available at DMRCs website
www. del hi met rorai l . com. So, the candidates
meeting the required medical standard may only
apply.
The job profile of Customer Relations Assistant (CRA)
entails interaction with the commuters at Customer
Carev Centres (CCC) and catering to their needs &
problems, looking after the affairs of Metro Stations
i ncl udi ng operati on control centres i n shi ft duty
including night shift. Their career progression will be
towards Station Controller/Train Operator. The job
requires highest standard of medical fitness, including
naked vision of 6/6, the details of which are,also
available at DMRGs website www.delhinietrorail.
com. So, the candidates meeting the required medical
Standard may only apply.
The job of Jr.Engineers include maintenance of various
Electrical (Rolling Stock/Lift/Escalators/ Power supply,
stores etc), Electronics (Rolling Stock, E&M & Stores
etc) & Mechanical systems . and train maintenance,
handling/operating Tower Wagon/Shunting etc. in shift
duty including night shift.
The Job profile of Fire Inspector entails attending to
fi re/emergency and rescue cal l s, i nspecti on of
fi re.systems, i nternal i nspecti on of fi re fi ghti ng
equipment, detection and also systems installed at
all stations and depots etc in shift duty including night
shift.
The job profile of Office Assistants pertains to HR/
Administration Department that entails dealing with
various HR activities like Recruitment, training,
allowances, increments, pay bills, leave rules, medical
attendance & treatment rules, PF, IR, maintenance &
processing of employees particulars in SAP/ERP etc.
The Job profile of Account Assistant comprise looking
after establishment, expenditure, budget, salary, bills,
reimbursement etc extensively in SAP/ERP.
The Job profile of Maintainer pertains to maintenance
of various Maintenance Systems & processes, in
connection with operation & maintenance of Metro
Trains, and also tot installation/execution of various
systems like Lifts, Escalators, Track, Structure, Traction/
OHE, E&M, Signalling, Telecom/Automatic Fare
Collection, Train. Coaches, Stores Depots etc., in shift
duty including night shift.
The Job profile of Stores Assistant entails Tendering,
composing offers, placing of purchase orders, Opening
& Operating of Letters of Credit, Custom Clearance
etc.
Selection process : For the post of Station Controller/
Train Operator (post code-01 )-and Customer Relations
Assistant (post code-02), the selection methodology
will comprise four-stage process-Written Test (two
papers), Psycho Test & Personal Interview followed by
Medical examination in Aye-one category.
For the post of Jr. Engineers (Electrical/Electronics/
Mechanical), (post codes 03,04 & 05) the selection
methodol ogy wi l l compri se three-stage process -
Written Test (two papers), Personal Interview followed
by Medical examination in Aye-one category not below
Aye-three.
For the post of Fire Inspector, (post code-06) the
selection methodology, will comprise three-stage
process - Written Test (two papers), Personal Interview
followed by Medical examination in Aye-One category &
specified physical requirements.
For the post of Office Assistant (07), Account Assistant
(post code 08) & Stores Assistant (post code 10) the
selection methodology will comprise three-stage
process - Written Test (two papers) & Personal Interview
followed by Medical Examination in Cee-One category.
For the post of Maintainer, (post codes 09) the selection
methodol ogy wi l l compri se three-stage-process-
Written Test (one paper), Personal Interview followed
by Medical examination in Bee-One category.
r Medical Examination : Expenses for the first time
medical examination of the candidate will be borne by
DMRC. However, in case a candidate seeks extension
for joining, then the second time medical examination
expenditure for the joining, will be born-a by the
candidate himself/herself.
The selection process, would judge different facets of
knowledge, skills, comprehension, aptitude and
physical fitness. Candidates will have to pass through
each stage successful l y (i ncl udi ng Medi cal
examination), before being adjudged as suitable for
selection. Candidates, who fail in the prescribed
medi cal test, wi l l not be gi ven any al ternati ve
employment and decision of the Corporation is final on
this issue. Dates of written examination, Result of

remain in constant touch with it.
r Written Test : For post codes 01,02,03,04,05,06,07,08
& 10, the written test will consist of two papers (Paper-
I and Paper-II, to be held on the same day in the same
centre). Paper-I will consist of multiple-choice objective,
type questions, on General Awareness, English, Logical
Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and/or knowledge of the
discipline/trade. There will be a total of 120 questions,
each carrying equal marks. There will be-no negative
marking. The Paper-I shall be or 1.5 hours duration.
Paper-II will consist of subjective type questions on
Paragraph Writing, Comprehension, Essay and
questions on Science & Technology matter, in English
Medium to judge the candidate's comprehension skills
& test of English language. The Paper-II shall be of 1.5
hours duration.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-I and rank high on the
merit list within the zone of consideration, as decided
by the DMRC, will only be evaluated for Paper-ll.
Successful candidates based on the Written Test (Both,
Paper-I & Paper-II put together) shall be called for
Psycho Test/Personal Interview, at Delhi.
r For post code 09, the written test will consist of multiple-
choice objective type questions only, on General
Awareness, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English
Language and specific ITI trade/discipline carrying a
total of 120 questions. Each question will carry equal
marks. There will be no negative marking. The paper,
will be of 1.5 hours duration.
The candidates (for all category of posts) to be called
for Psycho Test/Personal Interview and Medical
examination at Delhi shall be paid to & fro sleeper class
Railway fare for journey by the shortest route between
Railway Station nearest to hometown & Delhi. No
reimbursement shall be made to the candidates
appearing for the written examination.
r Character & Antecedents : The success in the
examination does not confer any right to appointment
unless the corporation is satisfied after such an inquiry,
as may be considered necessary, that the candidate
having regard to his/her character and antecedents is
suitable in all respects for appointment to the service.
r Surety Bond : The candidates selected for posts of
Station Controller/Train Operator, Jr. Engineers
(Electrical/Electronics/ Mechanical) & Fire Inspector will
have to execute a surety bond of Rs. 75,000/- & Cost of
training (apprx.Rs.22,000/-) to serve the corporation for
a minimum period of three years and also a three
months prior notice, will be required before seeking
resignation from the corporation.
The candi dates sel ected for posts of Customer
Relation Assistant, Office Assistants, Account Assistant,
Store Assistants & Maintainers will have to execute a
surety bond of Rs. 75,000/- & Cost of trai ni ng
(apprx.Rs.15,000/-) to serve the corporation for a
minimum period of three years and also a three months
prior notice, will be required before seeking resignation
from the corporation.
r Training & Probation : The selected candidates on
appointment will be on Probation for a period of two
years (including period of training), where they will
undergo intensive training for prescribed duration. The
Corporation has the right to enhance or reduce the,
training period at its discretion for any or all the trainees.
During the probation period, the candidates shall be
required to pass various examinations. The service of
the candidate during probation period can be terminated
by the corporation if the performance of candidate is
found to be unsatisfactory, in accordance with the terms
& conditions of offer of appointment.
r Pay & Emoluments : The pay & emoluments for direct
recruits shall be as per pay scales under the IDA
(industrial DA) as applicable from time to time and other
benefits which include Perks, HRA, Medical benefit,
EPF, Gratuity, and insurance etc. as per extant rules of
the Corporation.
Concessions & Relaxations :
v Upper age relaxation by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years
for OBC candidates (of Central List) (Formats are
available on D.MRG's website), for reserved posts.
v Upper age relaxations, by 5 years for candidates
belonging to Jammu & Kashmir who had ordinarily
been domiciled in that state, between 01.01.1980 and
31.12.1989.
v Upper age for Ex-servicemen will be length of service +
3 years, subject to a maximum age of 40 years. The Ex-
servicemen are those who are covered in the definition,
as per extant rules of Ministry of Defence/Govt of India.
v Existing DMRC employees who have completed at least
3 years continuous service in DMRC as on 1.1.2012,
will be given age relaxation to the extent of 3 years as
on the date of reckoning of age limit for i.e. 1.1.2012.
Payment of application fee (including postage
charges) (non-refundable) :
v UR & OBC (including Ex-servicemen) candidates are
required to pay a Non-refundable fee of Rs.325/- and
SC/ST are required to pay a-non-refundable fee of Rs.
75/- (for processing & postage charge) for each post.
In addition to, transaction charges, as levied by the
Bank (SBI), for issue of Challan, will be paid directly by
the candidate to Bank.
v Fee once paid will not be refunded under any
circumstances Candidates are therefore requested .to
verify their eligibility, time limit & combination of written
examinations before paying the application fee. If a
candidate wish to apply for .marathon one post, he/she
will have to remit the fee separately for each post.
r How to apply
Candidates are required to apply online through
website www.deihimetrorail.com. No other means/
mode of application will be accepted.
Candidates are required to save a valid personal e-
mail ID. It hold be kept active during the currency of this
recruitment process. In case a candidate does not have

a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/
her new e-mail ID before applying online Once no
circumstances he/she should share/mention e-mail
ID to/of any other person.
Candidates are first required to go to the DMRC's
website www.deihimetrorail.com and click on the link
"Career".
Thereafter, he/she may open the recruitment notification
titled "DMRC/OM/HR/l/2012".
Candidates are required to download the CASH
CHALLAN (fee payment voucher) for payment of the
application fee. The-cash voucher is in triplicate.
Candidates are required to go to any Branch of State
Bank of India and pay the amount of prescribed fees
(for fee details see para "Payment of application fee")
per post State Bank of India (SBI) has been authorized
by DMRC to collect the application fee, in specially
opened DMRC Account No. 32091518042, For payment
of fees, the candidate has to, approach the nearest SBI
branch with a challan in triplicate (1st copy-Candidate's
copy, 2nd DMRC copy & 3rd Bank's copy) downloaded
from DMRC website www.delhimetrorail.com. The
challan printed from the DMRC website should only be
used for depositing the fee for proper crediting amount
in the allocated account. On receipt of the money, the
bank will issue a unique Journal Number and a Branch
code of the bank collecting the money. Candidates are
required to collect the "Candidate's Copy" and "DMRC
Copy" from the bank. They are also required to ensure
that these cash receipts contain i) Journal number ii)
Branch Name iii) Branch code No. iv) Date of deposit v)
Amount.
DMRC will not be responsible in case the candidate
deposits the fee in a wrong account. There will not be.
any other mode of payment of application fee. If
selected for Interview/Psycho Test candidate will have
to show-the original copy of the challan meant for the
candidate.
Application fee is to be paid between 30.12.2011 to
24.01.2012 only.
Demand Drafts, Cheques Money Orders, Postal
Orders, Pay Orders, Banker's Cheques, postal stamps,
etc., will not be accepted, towards application fee.
Candidates are now, ready to apply Online by re-visiting
the career link i.e. "DMRC/OM/HR/l/2012" on DMRC's.
website www.delhlmetrorail.com and by going to sub
link titled "Apply Online" and follow the instructions given
carefully therein for Online Registration.
The Online registration will remain active from 10.00
hrs of 30.12.2011 to 23.59 hrs of 24.01.2012. only. In
order to avoid last minute rush, the candidates are
advised to apply early enough. DMRC will not be
responsible for network problems or any other problem
of this nature in submission of online application during
last days.
Please, select the posts applied and fill in the requisite
details in the online application format. All the fields in
the online application, format should be filled up
carefully. On the Computer, there will be a pre-view of
"the applications filled by the candidate before
submitting the application, so that it can be edited. After
submission the application, no modification will be
permitted.
Once you .submit your application, the system will,
generate a Unique Registration No. and generate a
Registration Slip, which will have unique Registration
number, your basic details like name/category, and post
applied for.
Important :
v Candidates are advised to take 2 (two) print outs of the
Registration slip.
v Please, paste his/her recent passport size colored
photograph (3.5cm X 3.5 cm) at appropriate place.
v Put his/her signature at the allocated place and put his/
her left thumb-impression on the-relevant place
allocated in the Registration slip. The thumb
impression must be clear and complete. Ridges: of
the thumb impression must be clearly visible.
v Please fill in the declaration given on the registration
slip in their own handwriting. Handwriting should be in
free flow and not in capital letters.
v Candidates must ensure that the photograph must in
colour, not more than 03 months old from the date of
the publication of this notification and it should be of
good quality with fine print. Applications with mutilated
or deformed photographs will summarily be rejected
by DMRC. The other copy of the registration slip should
be kept with the candidate for future reference.

The candidate will now send one copy of "Registration
Slip" duly completed as explained above so as to reach

positively via Ordinary Post. Candidates must ensure

Online applications are invited for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination 2012 to be conducted by the
Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi as per the following schedule for admission to 15% of the total seats for
Medical/Dental Courses in all Medical/Dental Colleges run by the Union of India, State Governments, Municipal and other
local authorities in India except in the Seats of ANDHRA PRADESH and JAMMU & KASHMIR :-
Preliminary Examination : 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)
Final Examination : 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)
PATTERN OF EXAMINATION : Both Preliminary and Final Examination would be Objective type.
r ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA : (i) He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age
on or before 31 st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year M.B.B.SVB.D.S. course and is an INDIAN
NATIONAL (ii) The upper age limit for All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st
December of the year of the entrance examinations. Further provided that upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period
of 5 (five) years for the candidates of Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/Other Backward classes (iii) The candidate
must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually and must
have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the
qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward
Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination
be 40% instead of 50% for General Candidates. Further, for persons for locomotory disability of lower limbs, the
minimum of 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ST-PH/OBC-PH are required. Those who are
appearing plus two examination in 2012 can also appear for the entrance test provisionally subject to their fulfilling the
conditions later.

2. I will not avail any SSB interview for the same course [SSC (NT)-96] and SSC (NT) Women 10th and CDSE
candidate for OTA Commencing in Oct.- 2012.
3. I have never been withdrawn from NDA, IMA, OTA or any other service training academy on disciplinary
grounds/debarred from appearing at any examination nor have I ever been arrested, prosecuted or convicted
by criminal court or involved in any other case registered by the Police.
4. I undertake not to make any claim for compensation if at any stage of my selection, my ineligibility for the
candidature is detected and my candidature is cancelled as a result thereof.
5. This is the only application submitted by me of NCC Entry/ (Short Service Commission) and if any duplicate
