I am applying for the post of Electrical Engineer in order to gain work experience in a challenging and rewarding environment in a growth-oriented organization, where I can apply the technical and managerial skills learned to companys benefit and my personal and professional growth. I am currently working as Jr. Electrial Engineer as simulation expert at Dasu Mega Hyrdo Power Project. Apart from real-time simulation I am responsible for preparing technical drawings and bid documents for the construction phase of the power project. This experience has proven to be most valuable and has greatly added to my technical expertise. I hold a Masters degree from University of Sheffield in UK enabling me to be cognizant of diversity in culture and perspective. In the past, I have worked as part of multi dimensional teams, with stiff targets and rigid time lines, as a norm. I am a thorough professional, well organized and punctual. The modeling of the drive system was undertaken using Matlab / Simulink in conjunction with Power System Toolbox, and the realization of the drive control including pulse width modulation (PWM) was implemented using dSpace system. The control strategy developed was first being verified by performing hardware in loop (HIL) simulation before real-time implementation.
