PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
ALGOS PRECLINICAL SERVICES, Roseville, MN 55113 2011-2012 A 25-person, contract research company specializing in animal pain models and in vivo efficacy pharmacology. Pain models included bone cancer, bone fracture, arthritic and rheumatoid pain, inflammatory, fibromyalgia, neuropathic and diabetic models. Director Biology (2011-2012): Managed a team of 12 researchers focused on pain research and behavioral pharmacology. I directed and managed high throughput screening of client compounds for efficacy in behavioral endpoints in various pain models. In this position I had extensive client interactions and management of client deliverables and expectations along with team management. Hired 6 researchers to grow the team to 12 members in 3 months. Facilitated progress of 3 new pain models Put in place process for quality standards for assays with device calibrations and testing standards. Managed over 60 client and internal studies. Concurrently managed the move of the research team to a new facility beginning of 2012 and ran complete validation studies for the 2012 catalogue.
