Goal of the work of R&D:

Daily Work (Job Responsibility) of R&D Member: Major Responsibility:

Man-M/C count Balance the line within 10 min of starting the factory following the RP-RP-RT method Give the TGT as per given SMV & man following the predetermined Efficiency level Check the availability of material (input, accessories, M/C with accessories) for the given TGT Check capacity of every process whether the TGT is achievable or not. If not mark the process /processes & go for the development procedure to met the given TGT through the R&D tools on the priority basis Randomly check the non-basic process in every ten/twenty min to ensure the achievement of the TGT Check the supply chain for every 30 min to ensure the 30 min job of a man Maintain the proper documentation to compare the gradual improvement of every hr Follow the Every half-hour line balance technique Follow the predetermined problem solving method to solve the problem

Wastage Reduction:
Material Wastage: 1. Thread 2. Stationery utensils 3. Fabric Man hour Wastage: 1. Unnecessary use of man-M/C 2. Reduce the material handling by keeping them in the minimum distance

Process Development Procedure: Step-1: Elementary analysis 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Observe the process flow & breakdown it to a maximum suitable no of element Record the process flow & time carefully & draw it in paper Analyze carefully which element can be eliminated & which can be combined Draw again by eliminating & combining the element Calculate the time for eliminated element & remaining element to find the development

Step-2: Speed up the operator 1. Smooth the handling 2. Make faster the handling

80% by coordination/supervision 20% by process development
