We know from 2 Timothy 1:7 that God has not given us a spirit of fear. All through His Word we are instructed to trust God and reject fear. Author Lloyd Ogilvie states that there are 366 fear not statement in the Bible, while Psychologist and author Bill Gaultier believes that there are even more, yet fear is all around each and every day. Its in the newspapers and on TV the internet is filled with articles and comments that cause anxiety and fear to struggle in our hearts with the faith that is planted there. Fear-mongering Iran is one that is in the news almost daily and we know that God will judge those who use fear and terror to gain power over others The Lord prophesied against Egypt and its allies through Ezekiel, and he writes concerning Iran in Chapter 32 verse 24, "Elam will be there. Its hordes will surround Elam's grave. All of them have been killed. They died violently, and they have descended uncircumcised into the world below after having spread terror throughout the land of the living. They will bear the shame of those who descend to the Pit." In his article, Elam/Iran in the Latter-days, John McTernan writes, Elam is an ancient geographical location mentioned in the Bible. Today its location would be mainly in Iran with a small section in Iraq. The actual location of Elam would be the very northern end of the Persian Gulf and down along the west coast of Iran Iran is a stronghold for Islam in the Middle East and they are very devout in their adherence to the teachings of the Quran and the Hadith. Islam teaches its followers to use fear against non-Muslims in over a hundred places. For instance in Hadith Bukhari, Allahs Apostle (Muhammad) said, I have been made victorious with terror cast in the hearts of the enemy. In Quran Sura it is written, Soon we shall strike terror into the hearts of the infidels their abode will be in the Fire. Also in Hadith Ishaq is the message, Muslims, we will terrorize those who disbelieve. In that way I will help you against them. This is the message of the religion of peace. Near the end of the movie, The Coming is Upon Us, the Muslim cleric states The events in Iraq, the war and bloodshed, have been described in detail and this land will be the center of conflicts in the age of The Coming. The Hadith predicts that Palestine will be the center of disturbance, insecurity and sedition by the Jewish nation The Cleric continues Another important figure in the age of The Coming is Shoeib-Ebne Saleh. According to the Hadith, Shoeib starts his move 72 months prior to The Coming. Shoeib will be appointed to the commander in chief by Seyed Khorasani believed by many to be the Ayatollah Khamenei. The Muslim Cleric asks the question Can Doctor Ahmadinejad be the Shoeib-Ebne Salch, that great commander of Islam at the time of The Coming? There are several Hadith that point to Shoeibs final goal of conquering Jerusalem and on the threshold of The Coming: this holy place will be conquered by him and his forces.

Its is clear that they promote this doctrine of fear throughout the middle east as part of their vision for the worldwide reign of Al-Mahdi who we know as the Anti-Christ Satan wants us to be afraid to embrace the fear that is all around us, but God tells us through Isaiah, Say to those with anxious hearts, 'Be strong, do not be afraid! Here is your God--he will bring vengeance, he will bring divine retribution, and he will save you.'" We need not fear what the terrorist are promoting ... their destiny is final judgment from God. The Church must keep its eyes focused on the goal ahead and not on what is going on around us. We have perfect safety in the arms of God ... fear not!
