Please find below my comments on 420 kv, 2000Amps HDB/HCB/PG ISO vender offer. 1) GA for HDB/PG is not attached with this offer, please ask to vender to provide the GA for all type of ISO (HDB/HCB/PG) along with GTP. 2) We do not require support insulator and operating rod insulator with PG/HDB/HCB ISO, because this we have already considered with the Qty of BPI, so please ask to vender to give their offer without considering the support insulator and operating rod insulator with ISO.

Before finalization of order please take the confirmation from vender for following points.-: 1) In case of ISO with single earth switch, the isolator shall be suitable to mount earth switch at any side of ISO. 2)Corona ring shall be provided with Isolator. 3) Supply of following Accessories with each Isolator. a) A Mechanical position interlocking device. b) Counter balancing spring. c) Weatherproof and corrosion proof nameplate. d) Hardware (Nuts & Bolts) including those for fixing Isolator to post insulator and structure. 4) Isolator terminal suitability for terminal connector to connect 4"AL EHIPS tube 5) Isolator & Earth switch suitability to bear on terminal the total forces including wind loading and electro dynamic forces on the attached conductor without impairing reliability and current caring capacity. 6) Base channel and other structural steel members such as operating pipes, phase coupling rods, etc., operating mechanism boxes, bolts, nuts, pins shall be hot dip galvanized. 7) Flexible connection between the earthing blades and the frame shall have the cross section of at least 50 sq mm copper or equivalent Aluminium. 8) Availability of Spare part and maintenance support services for the offered equipment at least for 15 years from date of supply. For information 1) System short circuit rating is 40KA for 1 sec. 2) The center line of Bus (4" AL IPS tube) height from plinth is 8000mm (near to Isolator terminal) and phase to phase clearance is 7000mm for 420 KV system, so down operating pipe of isolator for main and earth switch shall be suitable for this.
