Please refer to Advertisement dated 27 Jun 2011 pertaining to University Entry Scheme (UES-22) published in all National Dailies/Employment News, giving details of vacancies available/discipline/stream, eligibility conditions, terms of service etc . Application forms can be downloaded from website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in. 2. The unmarried male students of Engineering Colleges studying in Pre-final and Final year may attend interview for selection to become Army officers in Technical branches of the Indian Army. 3. Unmarried female candidates studying in final year can also apply for W-10 only. SSC (T)

Note : Age limit mentioned above will be applicable at the time of commencement of course. Matriculation Certificate issued by the Board concerned (CBSE/State Board/CSCE) in which date of birth is reflected will be accepted and no subsequent request for change in Date of Birth will be considered or granted. (Admit Card/Marksheet/Transfer/Leaving Certificate etc are not acceptable). 12. Two copies of Blank Application form are enclosed herewith. The colleges are requested to make relevant number of photocopies and distribute to the desiring candidates. Those who have already sent their application form during Jun/July 2010 will not apply again. 13. How to apply (a) Apply as per format enclosed (b) The envelop (while envelop) containing the application should be SUPERSCRIBED IN RED INK indicating clearly the branch of engineering applied for Example APPLICATION FOR UES-22 ENTRY, MECHANICAL ENGINEERING. (c) Following documents are required to be attached. (i) For UES Entry (Attested copies): (aa) 10th pass certificate for date of birth. (ab) 12th pass certificate for percentage of marks obtained. (ac) Upto IV semester mark sheet for pre final year. (ad) 2 x Passport size photographs. For TGC, SSC(T)(MEN), SSC(T)(Women) Entry (Attested copies): (aa) 10th pass certificate for date of birth. (ab) 12th pass certificate for percentage of marks obtained. (ac) Upto VI semester mark sheet. (ad) Upto VII semester mark sheet for Architecture. (ad) 2 x Passport size photographs.

Common Mistakes Resulting in Rejection of Application. (a) Photographs are not affixed/attested by a Govt gazette Officer. (b) Photocopy of metric/equivalent certificate for verification of date of birth is not attached and attested by Govt Gazettes Officer. (c) Para 12 of the application is not completed. (d) Application is not signed by the candidates (e) Name of the candidate is not mentioned in the certificate issued by the Principal. (f) Specified branch is not mentioned (g)Any ambiguity/erasure/attested/cutting/false information/concealment of information detected in the certificate/application will result in the cancellation of the candidature of the candidates at any stage of selection.

15. The application forms will be collected by the Preliminary Selection Team of Officers who will be visiting on the above mentioned dates.

16. The interview will be conducted in one of the colleges in each of the above places. The candidates will reach the college at a time which will be intimated verbally over telephone.
