RONALDINHO

Ronaldinho or his full name Ronaldo de Assis Morreira was born at 21 March 1980 in the city of Porto Alegre,the capital state of Rio Grande de Soul,Brazil.His mother,Dona Mingeluina Elois de Assis Dos Santos is a former salesperson who studied to become a nurse.His father,Joao de Assis Morreira,was a shipyard worker and footballer for local club Esporte Clube Cruzeiro.He suffered a fatal heart attack in the family swimming pool when Ronaldinho was eight.After Ronaldinhos brother,Roberto,signed with Gremio,the family moved to a home in the more affluent Guaruja section of Porto Alegre which was a gift from Gremio to convince Roberto to stay at the club.Robertos career was ultimately cut short by injury. Ronaldinhos football skills began to blossom at the of age 8,and he was first given the nickname `Ronaldinho because he was often the youngest ad smallest player in youth club matches.He developed an interest in futsal and beach soccer,which expanded to organized football.His first brush with the media came at the age of thirteen,when he score all 23 goals in a 23-0 victory against a local team. Ronaldinho,once again, was chosen into the first squad of the mighty Brazil. He wore number 11 in Brazils yellow green jersey. In that championship, the moment that had made his name known around the world was in the quarterfinal match , against the land of the mighty knight, England. Year after the championship was held, Ronaldhino made a move from his former club,PSG to Spains football club, Barcelona. The transferred fee is cost up to 18 million pound sterling. In his years with Barcelona, many reward he had achieved .He was awarded as the FIFA World Player of the Year for 2 consecutive years (2004,2005), European Football Player of the Year and FIFPro World Player of the Year award which was also he received in 2 succesive years with Barcelona. In the yaer of 2005, Barcelona won the EUFA Champions League. Ronaldinho showed a great effort and skill in every single minute of the game in that tournament.
