Concept of Tantra Tantra is an eminent science having thousands of principles.

In fact, it is the system of our life and a science of practice and practical knowledge. The word "tantra" is derived from the combination of two words "tattva" meaning the science of cosmic principles and "mantra" referring to the science of mystic sound and vibrations. Tantra therefore is the application of cosmic sciences with a view to attain spiritual ascendancy. In another sense, tantra also means the scripture by which the light of knowledge is spread. It is a divinely revealed body of teachings, explaining what is necessary and what is a hindrance in the practice of the worship of God which is important in a way to reach our destiny. The actual aim of Tantra is the ULTIMATE SPRITUAL FREEDOM. Tantra is not a religion; it is more of a spiritual philosophy doubled by a set of very efficient practices and techniques. Tantra practice is also not an easy task to perform by anybody and everybody. It requires regular ritual practice, complete dedication and discipline. Considering an appropriate comparison it would be with a regular light bulb through which thousands of volts are made to run. The bulb could not bear the intensity, and it would most likely explode. Similarly it takes a special kind of people to seek tantric goal as the consequence is too powerful to bear its intensity. But on the other hand it is very beneficial at a stage where astrology has its own limitation. Also where astrology works gradually in achieving the goal, tantra and tantric remedies is one of the shortest mode when immediate result is required. Mahavidya Tattwa with its intrinsic value over super conscious thought has got a special significance in Tantra Vidya. In Tantra, worship of Devi-Shakti is referred to as a Vidya. Of the hundreds of tantrik practices, the worship of the ten major Devis is called the Dasa Mahavidya. Mahavidyas are considered as primary cosmic forces when their was nothing (shunya) they were there. Kali is the basic element which represents the 'shunya'. There are several "levels" at which these Devis are worshiped with the prescribed Mantra and Yantra. Like a simple worship of the yantra with the mantra recitation, as a remedial astrological measure and elaborating the worship with all tantrak rituals through which various siddhis associated with these tantras and for spiritual salvation can be attained. Discussing tantra and tantric remedies, name of RajGuru Pandit Raj Kumar Sharma cannot be forgotten as he is one of the few eminent astrologer who has developed profound scientific knowledge of jyotish and tantra over the span of time.
