Virgo Horoscope for March 2012

By Susan Miller Early March will be simply magical, the best planetary alignments you have seen in years. The challenges you at faced some point during the years 2007 to mid-2011 were hard, but this month will be just the opposite - a gorgeous bouquet of planetary vibrations, sent straight to you by a loving universe. The universe did not forget you, dear Virgo. A golden triangle - called a "grand trine" linking the energy of four planets in earth signs, including Jupiter and Venus in Taurus, Mars in Virgo, and Pluto in Capricorn - will come together to work as one, bringing a plethora of benefits. This lovely phase will restore your optimism and open a door that will allow you to score a victory on several fronts. While it is true that everybody, of every sign, will have something to cheer about in the brilliant series of days that span March 1 to March 11, as an earth sign Virgo you will be in the best position to take full advantage of all that is due. We have not seen a grand trine of this magnitude, linking four such powerful planets so perfectly, in tight mathematical union, in many years. Watch closely the full moon in Virgo 18 degrees, on March 8, plus four days. A matter of enormous personal importance will come to fullness at that time. What comes to culmination could be that you finalize a special deal you've negotiated, or that you get a new job that you've been negotiating. You may finish a creative project or see an event come into being that you've been anticipating for many months (such as your wedding, for example). A legal action may come to the end stage, or it could be that a special relationship is reaching an important, official stage. There are many possibilities, but chances are, you have an idea of what it might be. The closer your birthday falls to September 10 (plus or minus five days), the more you will feel the full moon's energy of March 8. If you have a planet at 18 degrees (or within five degrees of this degree) in the sign of Taurus, Cancer, Virgo, Scorpio, Capricorn, or Pisces,

you will feel the effects of this full moon too, quite very directly. I cannot see everything in your chart from where I sit, but even so, the aspects are so glorious that it seems you'll love what is about to come your way. Aside from this incredibly important full moon, there will also be that golden triangle about to form in the heavens, and that cosmic event can have lasting benefits to you. The opportunities that come up in the first half of March could help you create the foundation on which to build your future. Everyone needs a breakthrough, and this is likely to be your time to get yours. To use this triangulation of planets to maximum effect, I will now tell you where your considerable gifts lie. Each planet will tour a specific part of your chart, and on top of that, each planet RULES another part of chart in your chart, yielding you double the benefits, depending which houses will be drawn into the special effects of the golden triangle. Pluto will form one leg of this golden triangle, and will be in Capricorn in your solar fifth house of romance and creativity. I feel Pluto, which is associated with big budgets, global markets, and funding, is more likely to help you green-light a creative project than have the effect of helping you meet someone new, but I will add that technically Pluto can do both. Pluto is moving at top speed, and will be in continual conversation with Mars in Virgo, and Jupiter and Venus in Taurus, in early March, and hit exactly on March 12. I feel a creative project may be reaching a critical juncture, and it will have the power to become extremely popular, by masses of people. Meanwhile, on the second leg of the triangle we find Jupiter and Venus in Taurus, and both planets are orbiting very close, within tiny mathematical degrees of each other. They are positioned in your solar ninth house, an international travel sector, making it an outstanding time to hop a jet to take an exotic vacation. Earth signs like sensual Taurus suggest you may enjoy a mountainous setting, like Bali, Hawaii, Switzerland, Belize, Peru, the Himalayas, the Grand Tetons

out West - you get the idea. If you can travel for any purpose, including business, during early March, do. Jupiter and Venus will also help you with your efforts to get citizenship in a foreign country, if that is a goal, or sponsorship, a green card, or visa. With Mars, Pluto, and Jupiter helping you, you will have enormous clout. I feel you may have an employer who is willing to sponsor you, as both Pluto and Jupiter have direct ties to the financial side of life. If you are doing business overseas, or work in broadcasting or publishing or academia, you are likely to see upbeat news surface. (In terms of academia, you may hear you have been accepted into a university you had hoped to attend, or that you passed a very difficult qualifying exam.) Venus rules your second house of earned income, an area you've experienced frustration with lately, but with the magical alignment of early March, it would be worth trying for a raise. If you are selfemployed, you may be able to generate new business. The justice system is included in the ninth house, the area of your greatest gain, so if you have to bring a case or hope to settle a case with the opposing party, you certainly have the right aspects to do so during the first week of March, culminating at the full moon March 8. If talks don't lead to a finish now, they could by early May, so stay optimistic. If you have to visit a client this month, and that is the reason for your travel, make sure you go prepared. The fact that Mars is now retrograde in Virgo suggests that you will encounter delays on finalizing your deal, at least until Mars goes direct, April 13. Don't let this worry you - you won't want to rush. Don't jump on April 13 as your start date for finalizing your deal either. Next month, April 15 will be one of the most depressing days of the year, not because the universe knows it's tax time in the USA (ha, ha, the universe doesn't really care), but rather, because Saturn will exactly oppose the Sun on that day. That would be a meeting of ice and fire. You should want to avoid that day for any financial or other financial meetings because the Sun will be visiting your credit

and taxes sector, and Saturn your earned income sector, and they won't be friendly. I also suggest you do your taxes early this year. The last thing you would want is to visit your accountant at the last minute on April 14 or 15 - news is not likely to be what you want to hear. Saturn holds our feet to the fire and makes us face facts, but on this day, it all may be too much to bear. If you can't get your taxes done early, then you may want to file a legal extension and then file, if allowed, in late in April or early May. What you want to avoid is hearing what you may owe in a meeting near April 15. I keep saying to work early in March for various reasons, but I will add that Mercury will be retrograde too, from March 12 to April 4. That is never a wise time to sign contracts or to give your word on any important offer. Whatever reason you would enter into a relationship, for business or personal reasons, will be undone, either almost immediately or months or one to two years later. You may be left wondering why you entered into the relationship in the first place. With both Mars and Mercury retrograde, the universe is being very clear - have talks, but make no final decisions, because things are in flux and are due to change again later. It is true that your earned income is still somewhat of a sore spot for you. This will change once Saturn leaves Aries in early October, thank goodness, for you have had nearly three years of financial stress. Money will again be a big focus later, at the new moon, March 22. This new moon will be an interesting one, in that Uranus, the planet of completely unanticipated events, will play a very prominent role, entering the scene arm-in-arm with the new moon and Sun. Mercury, by then retrograde, will be part of entourage, too. As the "messenger of the gods," Mercury often plays the role of agent or middleman, so again, the theme of partnership or representation comes up, but with Mercury retrograde, there will be clauses to work out. This is a new moon in Aries, and Aries' ruler is Mars. The problem is, as you know, that Mars is also in a weak, retrograde mode. With two key planets out of phase, everyone involved in your

discussions will display somewhat scrambled thinking, so your job will be to get things clarified. Be patient as you work through this period, and aim, if possible, for mid-to-late April to finalize the deal. Keep in mind that everyone will feel this somewhat changeable energy, although I will admit that only Virgo and Pisces will feel this new moon in purely financial terms. Romantically, having Mars in Virgo is always a big advantage, for Mars will make you noticed and enhance your magnetism. Mars is the "can do" planet, so in your sign you are more likely to assertively go after all you hope to happen. Venus will move into Taurus on March 5 to stay until April 3, and that will be another super advantage. The period near March 6, when Venus and Neptune will combine enchanting energies, would be ideal for a first date or for taking steps to enhance your looks. I also especially like March 5, 6, and 8 for a first date or a romantic night out with the one you already love. Having Jupiter in Taurus is another a big plus, an advantage you will have until June 11. Travel is one outstanding way to meet someone, whether in transit, say, on an airplane, or while working or relaxing in a city far from yours. Circulate more, dear Virgo - you really do have so much going for you. Your most romantic dates include: March 2, 3, 7, 8, 12, 14-16, 24-26, and 30-31.

Summary As you enter March, Mars will still be still moving through Virgo, putting you in front, in a very enviable position. Mars is retrograde,

however, so you will need to continue to rework projects and plans and polish them until they shine. Be ready to roll into new territory in late April, at the new moon April 21. Mars will be in far better and stronger form from mid-April through early July, and still in Virgo, so take your time. The full moon, also in Virgo, will appear March 8 and it's likely to bring a bushel of good news near this date. Something of enormous importance to you will reach fullness at this time, and it seems to bring reason to celebrate. It's in lovely angle to action Mars and to Pluto, the planet of renewal, in your house of creativity, fun, and love, so while you have so much going for you, you may want to crystallize a deal. Later, the planets will be dizzy, so press to get as much done in the early part of the month as you can. You have an excellent chance to travel overseas for a romantic vacation with your partner this month too, thanks to the position of Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Pluto. It would be an ideal time to go, and considering how hard you've been working lately, your breather would recharge you in just the right way. Virgo often finds taking time off hard to do, but in a month this lyrical and supportive, you'll change gears easily - you may not want to come home! If you work in import-export, in the international arena, or in the industries that deal with travel, publishing, broadcasting, communications, or academic affairs, opportunities will glow near March 12-13. No matter what comes up in those areas, take the offer seriously and investigate all possibilities, even if you aren't particularly interested in adding any new projects to your docket now. Whether you work as an author, editor, or producer, or as support staff to editorial, such as in sales, marketing, publicity, or other areas, it appears you can find a project or new position that would showcase your talents in a way that puts you in line for a promotion in June or January 2013. In regard to finances, keep an eye on your credit cards, eyeglasses, cell phone, wallet, iPad or iPod, and other valuables. Uranus will move close to Mercury on March 18, and loss could occur if you

allow yourself to become distracted. Added to the fact that Mercury, your ruler, will go retrograde from March 12 to April 4, and this increases the possibility for forgetfulness. With key planets out of phase, as you work, you will find higher-ups to be indecisive or hard to reach. Those delays, although frustrating, will protect you. Table your key actions to next month's new moon in compatible, stable Taurus, April 21. The new moon of March 22 will put your focus on other people's money and will herald a new development. You seem to be vacillating about what to do about a changing financial situation that you will hear about at month's end. The type of money you may be thinking about falls under "other people's money" and may concern a bank loan, mortgage or refinancing plan, or involve taxes, investments, severance, an insurance payout, court or divorce settlement, or other funds outside of salary. You will be under pressure to decide about this financial situation, and to agree fully with others involved. Although you will be told that there will be consequences if you delay in signing off, in truth, you would encounter much more severe ramifications if you press forward without studying the details and allow unfavorable clauses to go through. You appear to be dealing with several complex components and because your ruler, Mercury, will be retrograde, you will first need to ensure all facts and figures are accurate. In making your decision or crafting your financial plan, you can gain objectivity by enlisting expert advice, such as from an accountant or lawyer - doing so will also buy you time. When it comes to love, thanks to Venus and Jupiter, both in the perfect-for-Virgo sign of Taurus, in March you will be a darling of the zodiac. You will likely find love when traveling, perhaps in transit, or else in a classroom situation. You do have a wonderful advantage in matters of the heart, so enjoy the thrill of the chase and be as mysterious as you care to be. This month your admirers will be even more intrigued if you play hard to get.
