Rung Torque test- 30lbs of pressure is applied by test arm to any rung twisting rung, if no move ment ladder passes Horizontal bending test- Ladder is place horizontal on supports 6 inches from each end.350 lbs is placed 16 inches away from center on both side for 1 minute then removed, total distance from the ladder and the ground is recorded, then 500lbs is then placed for 5 minutes and removed and that distance recorded, if measurement difference is more than for 24 the ladder fails.
