FINAL YEAR PROJECT (A+ PROJECT)

FM and Wireless Safe Transmission/ Encryption and Decryption
In this project we did work on the scattered transmission of wireless devices. The devices which use to transmit frequencies and are received by any other receiver. The work done in this project was to avoid frequencies transmitted from reception by any other receiver other than the one for which we were transmitting it. We arranged two receivers and a single transmitter. First transmission of FM was received by the two receivers. Then we used an encryption technique through microcontrollers and in the second transmission it was only received by the specific receiver for which we were transmitting. A technique was used for decryption in the receiver. The other receiver could only receive noise because it did not have the decryption technique for the same frequencies.

In Wateen Telecom we were working on Satellite Communication (VSAT). We were working on both C-Band and Ku Band. I did some installation there on Hub side and found it very helpful for my future. Beside this I used to do monitoring of sites and did documentation work too. I was given the work of Testing of equipments and providing feedback. The wateen VSAT NMS was also installed under my supervision. I worked on getting plots of sites and communications with the vendor.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Attended one week training of Thaicom Satellite and was awarded a CERTIFIED USER CERTIFICATE from Thaicom Satellite. Prepared a Manual for my company called TROUBLESHOOTING MANUAL in which all possible technical and software related faults in VSAT media and hardware were discussed briefly. Trained new comers by giving them presentations about the equipments used in Pak Datacom Limited and general troubleshooting procedures. An assignment given on making the Hubs installation and cable routing proper and was completed successfully without any difficulty. Successfully completed the shifting from one satellite to another in the timelines given. Attending operational meetings with the operators as a representative of Pak Datacom Limited for discussing and solving different operational and technical issues. Installation of NMS for monitoring and troubleshooting was installed on the Hubs under my supervision successfully. Awarded best pushto poet certificate at University of Engineering and Technology.
