Also, the current education system is not sufficiently prepared to address the new processes, according the industry majors. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research can be defined as a systemized effort to gain new knowledge. A research is carried out by different methodologies, which have their own prons and cons. Research methodology is a way to solve research in study and solving research problem along with logic behind them are defined through research methodology. Thus while talking about research methodologies, we are not only talking of research methods but also consider the logic behind the methods. We are in context of our research studies and explain why it is being used a particular method or technique and why the others are not used. So that research result is capable of being evaluated either by research himself or by others.

Methodology: Research has its special significance in solving various operational and planning problems of business and industry. Research Methodology is a way to systematically analyze the research problem. Null Hypothesis: (Ho) Persons believe that there should be need of training in retail Alternative Hypothesis: (H1) Persons do not believe that there should be any need of training in retail.

The level of significance: This is very important concept in context of hypothesis testing. It is always some percentage means usually in 5 % When the sampling result less than 0.05 probabilities that shows researcher willing to take 5 % risk of rejecting null hypothesis.

Given a Hypothesis Ho & an alternative hypothesis H1, We make a rule, which is known as decision rule according to which we accept Ho (reject H1) or Reject Ho (accept H1)

Here, in my sample less no persons are believed that there is no need of training in retail otherwise most of persons believe that there should be need of training in retail industry. Persons opinion is good regarding my topic TRAINING NEED ASSESSMENT IN RETAIL INDUSTRY thats why result comes that. Will accept Ho means Reject H1.

Assumptions: 1. It has been assumed that sample of hundred persons represent the whole scenario. 2. The information given by the person is unbiased.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT
Researcher use various kind of instrument for research purpose. There are so many instruments are: Questionnaire Focus group Observation

Here I use the instrument as Questionnaire.

So far as concerned the

questionnaire there are two types structured & unstructured.

Structured Questionnaire: Questionnaire with definite & in the same order to all-respondent. Unstructured Questionnaire: Questionnaire without definite means opposite to structure. So I will use structured questionnaire means in order form for all employees.

SAMPLING DESIGN
Fundamental idea of sampling is that, is a small number of items or parts (called a sample) are chosen from random from a large number of items or a whole the sample will tend to have same characteristic and to have them in approximately the same properties as the universe.

1. Sample Universe: Jamnagar city.

2. Sampling Technique: I have used conversance sampling as non-probability sampling method. In this method I have convincing people for about the product which help me towards my research for that I went on mall and contact the person for purpose of survey and asking them question by questionnaire.

3. Sample Size: Sample size includes the total geographical area that is used for survey and ideal size of the respondents. I have taken Jamnagar city as my geographical area and 100 respondents (sales persons) ideally.

Data source
Data source is important aspect because it shows that from whom and where I data collect that known as the data source. First step in that data collect from books & journals & I have taken the surveys of different sales persons in the mall of Jamnagar city.

Model of data collection

I went in mall of Jamnagar city & met to sales person for filling up my questionnaire.

There are other models of collecting data: Personal Interview Telephone Observation

I will use Structure Questionnaire as a mode of data collection personal interview.
