Introduction Over the past three months, our group has thoroughly researched the most convenient way for the Texas Tech STC Chapter to have a fully functioning Group Portfolio. Our goal was to find the simplest and usable way to post the STC chapters documents in one place. We have spoken to the TTU STC President, Shon Bacon, to get the necessary information to construct this project. Additionally, our group has worked incredibly hard over the last several months to brainstorm Usability Scribd is the perfect website for hosting portfolios. Not only is the site user-friendly, but it is also very trendy. All documents put on Scribd can easily be put on Facebook, Google Plus, or any other social networking sites. The popularity of social networking will only continue to rise in the future. The TTU STC Facebook page could easily become a place to share member-created documents. The ability to share and comment on documents in real-time is pretty amazing. In order to help privacy matters, the groups moderators could make it a closed group instead of an open group. This essentially means that only members of the TTU STC Facebook group could see or comment on anything posted. In a way, TTU STC members could use the closed group page as a Mentorum, by creating a professional community that promotes constructive criticism.

Accessibility Our group has already made a specific TTU STC Scribd page. It is incredibly easy to add documents to Scribd. All you have to do is click on the Upload button, put the document into the categories it fits into, and youre done. It is now located in your Documents folder. Now that its there, you can easily put it into any Collection you want by selecting it from the links at the bottom of the page.

Deleting documents from collections on Scribd is incredibly easy. All you have to do is navigate to the collection and click on the x located on the right hand side. Immediately, a dialogue box pops up to ask you if youre sure that you want to remove the document from the collection.

Instructions 1. In order for a user to upload documents to the Group Portfolio, they must first sign into with Scribd. Users may use their existing Scribd account if they have one. Users without an account may sign up two different ways: A. Simply enter an email address, a unique username, and a password. B. Using their Facebook login information.
