Experience: Internship at The Texas Lawbook (February 2012-Present) Newspaper targeted at lawyers in Texas. Responsibilities include searching online for contact information, researching for articles and going through courthouse files. Assistant manager at The Commissary (April 2011-February 2012) In charge of advertising and publicizing the new restaurant as well as helping the manager with payroll, employee schedules and waiting tables a couple days a week. SMU Daily Campus, staff writer (August 2010-May 2011) SMUs student run newspaper that is published three times a week. Reported on sports, campus events, controversial policies of the university and local trends. SMU Daily Mustang, contributing writer (August 2010-May 2011) One of the founders of the Beyond the Bubble section of the online newspaper that focuses on events taking place outside SMU. Internship for Pacer Financial (June 2010-August 2010) Worked for the investment strategies company as an intern. I organized sales figures, researched competitors and made changes to the companys database. The Daily Update (August 2009-December 2010) SMU-TVs student run news broadcast that runs weekly. 6:00 a.m. crew call. I researched interviews, organized archives and helped type his articles for the Philadelphia Inquirer. I held this job until I graduated from high school.
