Lone Star Questioned in Apartment Incident

With the release across the net of verified video showing an attack by an unidentified gang, allegedly the NeoAntherthals, attacking the Olympic Arms Apartment building over the course of several days with no police interference. Lone Stars lack of action has brought the companys role in public safety into question. The building, which has since been demolished, was within Lone Star patrol areas and had no separate security contract. Why the building was attacked and why Lone Star failed to protect the tenants is unknown. The Mayors Office and the Lone Star Public Safety Liaison have begun investigating what went wrong and steps have been taken to insure that such a situation does not happen again. We are also looking to question the independent security contractors who were protecting the building, said Lt. Samwise Colbain who is in charge of the criminal investigation.

Tesla Motors unveils new Car

Tesla Motors is debuting their new Moonlight sedan on November 1st. This is the first car primarily designed and built at the Seattle Tesla facility and for the first week, it will only be sold in Seattle showrooms. Tesla Motor is very proud of its Seattle design team and workforce and we want to show off the fruits of their hard work, said Tesla President Ellyn Straubel-Vine. The Moonlight uses an advanced battery unit that recharges partly through a photovoltaic system that covers the entire vehicle and is so efficient that it even generates power in moonlight. While the electric car marketplace is crowded, Tesla Motors has managed to maintain itself at the high end riding on a reputation acquired at the beginning of the electric car era. The first three of the new Moonlight sedans will be raffled off to raise money for the Seattle Knights charity.

Seattle Metroplex Organizes Safe Streets for Halloween

In a joint effort between the Metroplex, Lone Star and various corporate security organizations to keep our streets safe during Halloween, extra patrols will be organized and run across the Metroplex. Halloween has become the safest night in Seattle, said Jo-Mary Demises, Director of Public Safety, and we want to keep it that way. the Rebel Network and Horizon, there are events all across the Metroplex. There is something for everyone with classic movies, costume contests, concerts and more. The biggest event will be the Downtown Monster Mash concert on Halloween headlined by the Celestial Intervention Agency who will perform at Midnight. Many of the events, especially those being held in Downtown, are free. The events are organized by age bands so that parents can easily see which events are appropriate for their children.

Final Presidential Debate on Sunday

As the 2068 election comes to a head, the final presidential debate before the election will be held in Boston. No one candidate has been able to establish a commanding lead and the race remains fluid though the Republican ticket has a slight lead in the polls. Political passions have been running high all across the US. Rumors of last minute deals between the parties abound. One surprise alliance could change the electoral balance entirely.

Seattle Stress to play the Paris Physique

The Seattle Stress plays the last ranked Paris Physique at home on Friday. The Physique have a rough season having lost their lead striker in over 80% of their games but they still have a chance to avoid being relegated down if they can win their remaining matches.
