Christmas tree collections

Please remove all decorations from your real Christmas tree before putting it out for collection. Put your tree where you would normally leave your bin. Do not put your Christmas tree in your garden waste bin. For more information contact Serco on 0800 031 9091 or e-mail environmentalhelpdesk@ canterbury.serco.com

Weather conditions
In bad weather conditions, please put your waste out on your usual collection day and leave it out. We will collect it as soon as possible. Please visit the council web site for updates www.canterbury.gov.uk

Clear sack deliveries

The way we issue additional clear sacks has changed. To reduce the number of sacks used, please compact as much waste in the sacks as possible. You can also bundle cardboard, newspapers and magazines and place them next to the clear sacks for collection. For more details or to register visit www.canterbury.gov.uk/recycling

Please remember to put out your landfill waste bins, clear sacks and garden waste bins by 7am on your collection day.
