Introduction:
Expert system for prescription of medicines provides us to create sequential information of the symptoms and medicines for a disease. It provides us to develop the prior information of the medicines for diseases in an organized way. It is very helpful to all the medical institutions such as hospitals, clinics and chemists to gather all the data online. All the information of the diseases and their medicine can be displayed online to the staff.

Objective of Project: Expert system for prescription of medicines aims at

developing a platform for storing the prior information of the medicines of any disease in an organized way. With increase in diseases and heavy complexity in the symptoms, this system can be used to store symptoms and their remedies in an organized and it allows us to add more and more information in a simple and secure way. This software has a flexible security function. We can define access information of each set of symptoms in a sequential and systematic way which reduces the complexity. It consists of information of all the diseases, their symptoms and medicines for cure.

Scope of Project:
The system will allow a medical store or a hospital, or a personal clinic to manage all its data (Symptoms, disease, medicines and cost). Profiles for all the symptoms, the disease, the cure and other complete information about them. Expert system manager will be able to update the daily status of newly introduced disease information online .

The system will provide a quick response to the errors and will find quickly response to the errors. The system will produce weekly, monthly and annual reports of the patients who have been prescribed the medicines. The system will set up a communication channel via e-mail between all the doctors or staff or medical shop in charge to maintain all the records and communicate if any problem arises. The system will maintain the information and handle all the critical situations automatically. Activities like updating, creations done in the system by the system users will be maintained during time to time.
