In history, there are several events that interfere in the lifes change of people.

These events are the invention of the printing press and internet. They brought a newly high organization to the world as a whole. The printing press enabled the vernacular translation of the Bible .It compelled the standardization, and issued particular forms and norms of writing. Internet invention has a tremendous influence on the world population as well. A range of linguists are concerned with the internet and its impact .The most prominent figure is Crystal. He describes internet as: an association of computer networks with common standards which enable messages to be sent from any central computer to any host on any other (2004:2-3).Throughout this quotation, he shows that internet is a number of interconnected computers whereby people send messages from their computers to others abiding by certain rules and conditions. The concept of standards leads one to consider John Coate s hosting ethical programme (1992) in which forums hosts create certain rules to the guests who wish to integrate into their forums. Interestingly, internet becomes nowadays the worlds biggest computer network through providing increasing range of services. Taking into account the previous statement, one can ask the question: how does internet make life distinctive? The difference between citizens and netizens is in the language mode they interact whereby. With citizens, language is either spoken or written. It is spoken through face to face interaction. But, it is written through letters. With contradistinction, netizens online conversation is a hybrid language; that is talking through writing (Coate, 1993).To explain more, it is writing because we type on the keyboard and people read it. However, it is speaking due to the spontaneity as speaking in real world. As a demonstration, I personally write what intend to speak in facebook. The distinction is in the medium of communication. The tool of interaction of traditional citizens is divergent from that of cyber netizens. As mentioned previously, in the real world people communicate through face to face interaction or writing letters. However, netizens interact in virtual space behind the computer screen. Its sense exists in each ones imagination (Coate, 1993). However, online interaction is considered as a third

place in addition to the first place (home) and the second place (work) which are real spaces. I personally consider it as a real space I meet in new people and interact with them sincerely and I get comfortable when sitting in front of the screen, particularly, the encouragement I got before sitting for the magister exam .This personal experience is agreed on by Coate (1993:1) in which he says: the third place is remarkable similar to good home in the psychological comfort and support. Moreover, time consumption is considerable factor. The span of time spent interacting on the net is distinctive from that in the physical locale. Contrasted to the online conversation, interaction in the real world is time consuming, especially, when it comes to moving to other places. It is limited by time since we are obliged to fix an arrangement to whom we want to talk. Nevertheless, through online interaction one types what they wish to say their correspondents, and the receiver reads it any time. Sometimes, it happens to me that I email my teachers since I rarely encounter them, or they favour being sent emails because of time. This is done when sending my dissertation work to my supervisor through emails instead of moving to Oran .In addition, people usually need to shift to other places when searching for documents, for examples, or contact only individuals whom they know only. Cyber interaction provides marvelous opportunities to meet people. Following in the same line of thought, cyber interaction brings people from different places together. It allows one to conduct a larger volume of people of personal correspondence over a period of time rather than just few in neighbourhood. Moreover, electronic mail is especially useful for maintaining and enlarging a personal network. For instance, one can talk to people to whom they dont know. It serves as conduit for horizontal flow of information through the population by the potluck of the mind (Coate, 1993).It is a kind of fishing or sharing what one owns and get what others know. From personal experience, I usually talk to people whom I dont know and with whom I become friends. What I still remember is sharing my documents about students slang with someone who is keen in slang. Internet and real world interactions are different in other aspects as well.

Cyber interaction affords less risks and secrecy. In real world encounter, people are known by their real names .However, one can subscribe in a forum with another name to which he bears no responsibility, particularly, when it comes to harassing people. Personally, I write fella bel in facebook instead o writing my real name to hide my identity in order to avoid rumours .This contributes to the protection aspect. As compared to real world communication, the online world might be where words can break your bones but sticks and stones can never hurt you.(Coate, 1993:9).This due to standards put by the forum hosts who can arrange things and prevent quarrels between people .Nevertheless, secrecy does not neglect meeting people in real world. Taking into consideration what has been mentioned in the previous paragraphs, virtuality is rendered into real world interaction in the physical world .This can strengthen ones impression and image that was constructed prephysical encounter. For example, I spoke one boy in facebook who is too far from my hometown whom I met and built a love relationship. But, I have heard that some people were kidnapped because of trusting others meeting them. These are the outcomes of interaction. In brief, cyber interacting citizens are divergent from the traditional type of interacting real world in several aspects. Among those aspects are virtuality, efforts, time-consumption.
