Surveillance is entrusted to a system of CCTV cameras, which are mounted on rotating hard points located within set locations inside the property. These cameras track human movement in real time and the footage is recorded in loops of fixed duration. CCTV constantly monitored at the security cabin as well as the HR Managers cabin.

Staff Amenities Staff Cafeteria This is the dining area located at the back of the hotel. This area has its own small independent kitchen and follows a buffet system. All the junior hotel staff dine here during meal times. This area can also be used by the kitchen staff sometimes to conduct meetings. It also has amenities such as a television and music system to essentially create a space where the staff can unwind during meal times. Separate male and female locker rooms are provided for the hotel staff which are close to the rest room areas.
Laundry & Housekeeping Machine Room Receiving Area Washing Machine Dryer This is located in a separate area behind the laundry where all the operating machinery, busbar chamber etc. This is the location where dirty linen from the rooms, restaurants, etc, is received, sorted and tagged for processing in the laundry. Front loading type washing machine is used for washing as specified by the management. Capacity is 50 kg. This equipment is steam operated & is used for drying the linen after it has been washed and processed through the hydro extractor.

Swimming Pool The Pool The swimming pool at the Welcom Hotel is very centrally located in the main courtyard of the building. It is upto 3m deep in the main pool & also has a small baby pool. Gas Supply Gas Supply Gas Bank Dedicated gas pipelines This is a secured room where LPG cylinders are stored of industrial grade (14.2 kg). The room has facility to weigh the cylinder before taking the delivery. It is a no-smoking zone. A very important aspect of designing a hotel. The designated grade of fire extinguishers need to be located in the vicinity of the kitchen for safe fire fighting. The service lines inside the kitchen need to be cloaked inside a false ceiling to protect them from the hazards of cooking. Sprinklers need to be effectively located in all areas of the hotel.

Receiving & Trash Waste Management Segregation Principle Effective waste management is essential to minimize the impact on environment. Waste management works on the principle of reduce, re-use and recycle. Further the waste generated has to be actively segregated before it is released for disposal.
