Textbook: The American Pageant, 12th Ed., David M. Kennedy, Lizabeth Cohen, and Thomas A. Bailey, authors. AMSCO United States History, John J Newman and John M Schmalbach. Readings listed will be supplemented by other readings, and as always, you can expect to take a quiz on the material in each American Pageant or AMSCO chapter. In-class essays and exams have been scheduled, but other, take-home essays (including DBQs) will also be assigned. N.B.
