TODAY Welcome to Cedar Church! Today, Pastor Steve continues his AM sermon series called Judges - Gods Rescue through Unlikely Heroes, and Living Out the Gospel in the Letter to the Galatians in the PM. We will also celebrate the Lords Supper this morning. Wine is placed in the center & middle of the tray and grape juice on the outside ring. A benevolent offering will also be received for the Cadets Club. 11:00 AM No Sunday School 5:30 PM Evening Service ANNOUNCEMENTS New Date for Graduation Sunday On Sunday, May 27th, Cedar Church will recognize our graduating seniors during the morning service with a special gift Bible. Graduating high school seniors this year are Caryn Baker, Rachel Himebook, Matthew Igo & Sarah VanDyke. Graduating college seniors this year are Kailyn Baum, Brian Grysen, Erin Grysen Strating, Joanna Hartwell, Sarah Stanley, and Elizabeth VanDyke. Please offer your heartiest congratulations to these students. Additionally, our Fellowship Luncheon will be held on May 27th to honor our graduates. Summer Quarter for Kids Begins June 10 From June 10 July 29, our Kids Sunday School will experience some exciting summertime variety. Our traditional classes for kids will shift gears into an 8 week summertime ministry - called Catechism Club - for kids who are age 4 through going into 6th grade and will meet in the gymnasium for games, activities, crafts, stories, Bible memory and catechism studies. This year, our youth group (with help from their adult leaders!) will lead our summer club to gain experience for their West Virginia Summer Missions Trip. In Gods Wonderful Library, students will learn all about the source of all true knowledge about God found in the Bible alone. Your kids wont want to miss it.

ANNOUNCEMENTS Young Adult Summer Camping Weekend On June 15-17, post-high young adults (& graduating seniors) from across the presbytery are invited to a weekend campout on the back dunes and hardwood forest of Muskegon State Park in Western Michigan. Cost of the trip is $30/participant. Brochures are forthcoming. For more information, please contact Matt Grochowalksi at (616) 262-7317 or mgrochowalski@gmail.com. Assistant to the Pastor Cedar session is pleased to announce we are now accepting applications for a new administrative assistant position for Cedar Church. The assistant to the pastor is a parttime work at home position (18-20 hours per week) that will aid our pastor with church-wide communication, administration, record keeping, people management, and other duties. We invite all interested candidates to pick up a Job Description form from Craig Baker. Please forward your resume and cover letter to Craig Baker or David VanDyke, if interested in the position. Help our Ushers by Reserving the Last 2 Rows of Chairs Cedar session would request that the congregation reserve the final two rows of chairs in the gymnasium for visitors, late comers and families with small children. Starting in June, our ushers will begin to manage our seating bottlenecks more actively to serve the needs of our growing church family as we worship Christ together. 2012 OPC Family Camp - Please plan to register for a wonderful time of fellowship and refreshment at our 17th Annual OPC Family Camp of the Michigan-Ontario Presbytery, held at Camp Concordia in southwest Michigan. Our registration deadline is July 29, but we have an early bird discount available to all campers who register (with payment) by May 22. Campsites and cabins are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Space is limited, so sign up early. If you have questions, call the Harvest OPC office at 261-0327 or email secretary@harvestopc.org.
