Dear Mr Tan Sri Wong: Helping your university to better development and achievement is always our main priority. Therefore, our company is pleased to submit the following proposal that outlines the solution and method to upgrade the internet services in your campus.

BACKGROUND AND GOALS We understand that your university is always concerned about giving a more conducive, more advances and a more convenient learning environment for the students so that they could have the best study experience in their university life. Based on the surveys and reports of your university, we found that many complaints have been made upon the issue of inefficiency of the internet service and the accessibility of the university portal website. Therefore, there are some important features that should be fulfilled by UTAR in order to achieve the goal of your university.

Fast-speed internet services so staff and students could work faster and save time.

Smoother access to the internet anywhere in the campus. Greater connectivity to the internet, enabling students to access their lectures and consultations.

PROPOSED PLAN To achieve the mentioned goals, our company, Speedy Net Sdn Bhd proposes the following plans:

Build a mini astro router at open space near the campus area, so that UTAR stakeholder will be responsible for the safety of the router and it will detect a stronger signal at the same time(easy to receive).

Subscribe to a unique and exclusive internet plan package provided by our company that guarantees a much faster speed, more consistent and more secure internet services.

Install more Wi-Fi router in the UTAR campus so that it could make the wireless network be available all over the campus.

Seek for experts advices and tips to improve the internet speed and overall performance of the internet services, so that do-ityourself can be done by the students when facing such problems.

Implement a new software or program that could help better management of the portal of the university.

Relocation of the astro-router 1 day Construction of the astro-router Expansion of the coverage area of the internet signal 3 days Installation of the Wi-Fi router in the campus Designing the new program for the portal of UTAR Conduct a talk about internet services 2 days 3 days 1 day TOTAL BUDGET Construction fees: i. Construction of the astro-router = RM 2 000 ii. 4 workers with each labor cost of RM500 = RM2 000 (PUT IN A TABLE FORMAT) 7 days

Designation fees: i. Program = RM 1 000 ii. Labor cost = RM 500

Installation fees: i. 6 Wi-Fi routers with each cost RM400 = RM 2400 ii. Labor fees = RM 700

Talk Conduction fees: i. Speaker allowance = RM500 ii. Set up of the talks venue = RM320 iii. Booklet for students = RM400 GRAND TOTAL = RM 9 820

Additional long-term costs: Maintenance fees: i. RM 1500 per weeks
