On behalf of Pakistani community our condolences to Mr. Tassawur Khan, Deputy High Commissioner in Canberra for a tragic loss in his family. We also have received information that another Pakistani Zeeshan from New South Wales has lost his two family members in Bhoja air crash last month and yesterday morning SBS Urdu Radio Service announced the demise of Surgeon Lakhani who was a very prominent community member. Please pray for the departed souls.

Mark Mc Gowan arranged a meet and greet for community leaders at Parliament house which gave us a chance to meet members of his team and discussed with them relevant issues faced by migrants in Western Australia. Exhibition Opening - Sunday 10 June 2-4pm The intricate beauty of the ancient art of paper cutting is brought to life by the energy and creative joy of Pakistani self-taught artist, jeweller, and 3D CAD/CAM designer Tusif Ahmad. Each delicately hand-cut from a single sheet of paper, his artworks are influenced by traditional Islamic patterns and symbols. Yet Tusif takes a unique and personal path in his storytelling imagery, exploring the dynamic opposing forces that shape our personal trials and triumphs in life, love and beauty.

REQUEST FROM PAKISTAN CHHIPA WELFARE TRUST Is one organization in Karachi that has completely changed the provision of meal services in public hospitals by providing the patient and carers proper meal and in a much respectable way with dedicated staff. They need continuous support from public to take this huge task which has now spread to a large number of venues. As the holy month of fasting approaches please consider them in your thoughts and donations.
