PREFACE
This document provides a brief summary of the experience and areas of expertise of Consultancies which are, or form part of, Member Companies. In particular, it lists expertise relating to corrosion in marine or wet environments. A questionnaire/template was sent to each company, and the directory has been compiled from returned questionnaires, using the information supplied by the companies. More details can be obtained by contacting the consultancies directly.

In 1983, she joined YARD Ltd; a firm of marine consulting engineers as their specialist in nickel alloys and stainless steels primarily working with the MoD (Navy). Since 1989, she has been a CDA consultant; her main specialisation for copper alloys covers the marine industry, particularly involving copper nickels. Vice-Chair of EFC Marine Working Party. Mark Tur Mark has an MBA from Oxford Brookes University and is a member of the following professional bodies: The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining The Chartered Institute of Marketing The Engineering Council UK Mark has been involved in CDAs antimicrobial programme for most of its 5 years and has spearheaded it over the last two years, overseeing the manufacture and installation of products for the UK clinical trial. He will present a manufacturers view of the requirements for products and opportunities for product development. CDA is on the steering committee of the Copper Nickel Task Group, a global body of industry specialists in the use of copper alloys for marine applications. Established in 1933, Copper Development Association (CDA) is a membership-based organisation which supports and promotes the use of copper and its family of alloys by providing accurate, reliable, impartial, information to professionals specifiers, designers, manufacturers, architects, engineers, installers to end users and to the specifiers and designers of tomorrow, students, to ensure the ongoing correct and efficient use of copper.
