As a school, we will do our best to:
expect the best from children in behaviour and work inform parents regularly how their children are progressing inform children and parents what the teachers aim to teach the children each term take reasonable steps to ensure the safety, happiness and selfconfidence of all children be open and welcoming at all reasonable times and offer opportunities for parents to become involved in the daily life of the school set, mark and monitor home tasks regularly in keeping with the schools policy contact parents as soon as possible if we are concerned about your childs work or behaviour contact parents if there is a persistent problem concerning your childs attendance or punctuality curriculum which meets the needs of children

As a family we will do our best As a student I will do my to: best to:

make sure that my child arrives in school on time and is collected on time make sure that my child attends school regularly and inform the school of the reason for any absence support the school in maintaining good behaviour and discipline encourage our child to use good manners and respect all members of the school community support my child with homework and other home learning opportunities when necessary, and listen to my child read where appropriate attend Parent-teacher Conferences, Open Mornings, Class Assemblies and other school events ensure that my child wears the correct school uniform and follows the school dress code let you know if there are any problems that may affect my childs ability to learn take an active and supportive interest in our childs school life and praise their efforts reply to any school correspondence try my best and enjoy school work hard and listen carefully to instructions come to school regularly and be on time keep the school rules and behave well

be polite and helpful to other children and all adults do my homework regularly, to an acceptable standard and bring it back to school on time wear the correct school uniform and follow the dress code bring all the equipment I need everyday take good care of the school environment talk at home about what I learn at school (named person)
