Introduction
The Personal Edition V6.x of PegaRULES Processor Commander provides a learning environment for a single developer. This version of Process Commander is fully functional, but performance is limited by the speed and memory of your workstation. Rules and applications you develop with the Personal Edition can be moved to a full Process Commander system, version 6.x or later.

What Gets Installed?

To simplify installation, the Personal Edition automatically installs: Oracle JRE 1.6 and JDK 1.6.0.23 IBM DB2Express-C 9.7.2 Personal Edition installs DB2 as a Windows service that starts automatically when your system is started. To improve performance while using Personal Edition, stop other database services and other Windows services that are not needed. To stop the DB2 service when you are not using Personal Edition, click the DB2 icon in the taskbar system tray on your Windows desktop.

Apache Tomcat 6.0.29 To avoid conflicts with other instances of Tomcat you may have installed, Person Edition installs Tomcat using the following port numbers: HTTP: 9090 (Tomcat default: 8080) SSL: 9443 SHUTDOWN: 9005 AJP: 9009 (Tomcat default: 8443) (Tomcat default 8005) (Tomcat default: 8009)

If you remove your existing DB2 installation to install Personal Edition, be sure to backup your existing data and delete the Windows DB Admin user created during the DB2 installation, db2admin.
