as an environmentally sustainable space,
promoting community economic
development through innovative social
enterprise development and community
revitalization.

The Bubs thiiu flooi is a home to its
performance space and events area. The
floor features airy 14foot ceilings, houses
three distinct spaces, and is anchored by a
state-of-the art kitchen with a bar.
This is an open, bright, beautiful space,
available for occasional or regular rental. It
can host cooking demonstrations or
classes for alternative health practices. The
dance studio space can also be used for
Yoga, Tai Chi and fitness workshops.
Additional uses include catered
receptions, art shows, film nights, wine
tastings, small concert recitals and other
performances.
For organizations, the space also works as
a venue for staff/board development days,
Strategic Planning and office retreats,
AGMs, Diwali, Eid, Christmas parties, etc .

Top of the Hub
The 100 year old posts, high wood ceilings
and exposed brick provide an excellent
backdrop for the display of visual arts. The
Hub provides an ideal ambience and
space for diverse forms of community
performing arts.

The second floor of the Hub is a 4,200
square foot open-concept space where
offices and work stations can be co-
located. It will feature a shared reception
and boardroom that provides a common
administrative and organizational
infrastructure for tenants. The space is
perfect for emerging entrepreneurs,
artists and social service organizations
looking for an affordable alternative to
traditional office space.


Co-location Space
The Bubs main flooi will featuie a Faii
Trade Cafe with a community space for art
displays and community musical
performances. This warm, communal
space will serve fair-trade coffee and tea as
a well as a menu of healthy, affordable
snacks and delectable light bites that will
get your creative juices flowing.


The stai of the Bubs main flooi is its
striking green landscaped courtyard with a
stunning water feature that gathers all the
rain water and absorbs it in native grasses,
plants and herbs. As well as a place for a
quiet break, the rainwater garden is a
perfect venue for small receptions or
ieauings a faimeis maiket oi an ait anu
craft marketplace.


The main floor can also accommodate a
range of retail operations and has an ideal
street-front commercial location.
