Hesitation

Are you 100% sure your going to Heaven?

After reading the question above an answer came to the forefront of your mind. If your answer was anything but Yes then please take a couple of minutes and read how the Lord Jesus Christ changed my answer from

I hope so to Yes.

I started going to church about the time I turned 21 and that was becasuse of a beautiful redhead. I didnt know anything about Christ at the time because I had never been to church. I became involved with the music ministry and began helping in a sunday school class. I was acting the act and talking the talk. Eventually, I came to know God was the Lord and Jesus was His Son. I also believed Christ had died for my sin, but I had not confessed with my mouth like Romans 10:9 says: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. One Sunday morning my wife and I (the redhead) were walking into the church(to go sing in the choir) and I stopped at the door. My wife looked at me, and I told her I couldnt go up into the choir loft. She paused, looked confused and then went in (being the obedient servant to Christ she is). Instead of follwoing her in, I stepped into the building next to the church and sat down by myself. I sat there thinking about death and I knew if something happened and I was to die I would go straight to Hell. I needed to get saved, but if I did I would be admitting to my wife she had married a liar and I would also be admitting to the churchI had been living a lie. At that very moment two men(Kevin and Duane)walked into the room and sat down by me. These two men of God helped me with all of the concerns Satan was throwing at me. It was then, with those men as my witnesses, I bowed my head and accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior. I am still happily married and presently, God has allowed my wife and I to serve in Eight different ministries within the church. Please take the time to look at the last two sections of this tract. Take this time to look into your own heart as I did. Dont make the mistake of allowing anything to stop you from coming to know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Problem
In the book of Romans chapter 6, verse 23 it says, for the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1. So what is a wage? A wage is something you earn. In the business world the wages you are given are based on the work you do or dont do. 2. What is a sin? A sin is anything you do (or in some cases think about doing) that goes against the Law laid down by God. The Bible says in the book of Romans chapter 3 verse 23, for all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. 3. What does the word death mean? In the context of this passage the word death is being used to mean separation from God.

These rst three items paint a fearfull and discouraging picture. When our heart stops beating we will go to either Heaven or Hell. God makes clear in Romans 6:23, we have earned separation because of our sin. If anything was to happen to you physically causing your heart to stop beating, as a sinfull person, we would be immediately separated from God. There isnt anything good about the thought of being sent to Hell. Hell is just as real as this document your reading and Hell isnt a place you want to go to. The good news is, Romans 6:23 doesnt stop there. God continues the verse with the goal of showing us the solution to our sin problem.

Solution
1. So what is the gift of God? On birthdays people are given presents to celebrate their birth. If these presents were based on works we would be giving them to our moms. The moms are the ones who did all of the work on that day. A gift of God is something God is wanting to freely give to all who are willing to receive and has nothing to do with what they have done. 2. What does eternal life mean? Take your two hands and place them out in front of you. Put them together (palm to palm with the right hand on top). Imagine your left hand is you and the right hand is God. If you separate them (right hand upwards and left hand down), you have a clear picture of death. When they are put together they become a clear picture of eternal life. Eternal life is never being separated from God, even if your heart stops beating. The last part of Romans 6:23 says, Through Jesus Christ our Lord. God allowed His Son Jesus Christ, to come to earth and be born as a man. He allowed Christ to be mocked, spit on, beaten and crucied. Christ was then taken down from the cross and buried in a tomb. The bible says His Son payed the price for our sins. The price, seperation. Jesus Christ was separated from God so we could have eternal life. After Christ suffered the separation from His Father, He rose up out of the tomb defeating sin and death, and now Christ sits at the right hand of the Father in Heaven (Acts 2:32-34) If you have read this information and you have not accepted the gift of God, He is holding it out to you now and all you have to do is reach out and take it. God states......In His Holy Word....

Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:13 For Whosoever shall call upon the name of hte Lord shall be saved. Recieving the gift of eternal life is done by faith and you must 1. Accept the fact that you are a sinner 2. Be willing to say with your mouth to God that you believe Jesus Christ is the Lord and you are willing to make Christ the Lord of your life 3. Believe the Lord Jesus Christ died for your sins, paid the price for your sins and rose from the dead. The following is what I prayed when I accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior: Lord Jesus I know I am a sinner and that I have been living a lie. Thank you for dying on the cross for me and for going through seperation to pay the price for my sins. I am asking you to come into my heart and to be my Lord and Savior. Please take control of my life and mold me into what you want me to be. Now it is your turn. What is your decision? Will you continue down a path leading to Hell, or are you going to choose to take the time to invite Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of your life. Please dont wait another moment. Accept Gods gift of eternal life today!
