PRODUCT LINE
Albertsons International is engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing of Electronic Currency Counting machines, Electronic Currency Bundling machines and Electronic Cash Register systems since 1995.Some of the innovative products include Interactive Multi-Utility Kiosks, Electronic Handheld Terminals, Cheque Receiving and Truncation Systems, Interactive Voice Response Systems and Point of Sale Systems among others. Recently they have launched Digital signage as the dynamic advertising solution.
MY PROJECT TOPIC
Our company has launched a new product i.e. digital signage and I am given the responsibility to handle Digital Signage in various Industries like restaurant and education industry. For experience I also met some customers of banking industry for selling digital signage. My project topic is application of digital signage in restaurant and education industry. My work is to present sales pitch and make sales deal in every Industry. Till now I have done cold calling in automobile, restaurant industries but my major focus area is restaurant and education Industry.
1. LCD/LED screen(s) Any Size from 17 to 52 (depending on the specific requirement of the location of deployment so that the screen is neither too big nor too small)
2. Xtreme Media Player Hardware + Software combo. installed at the back of or near each Screen to store & display content on the respective screen
3. Central Server At main restaurant to host the Xtreme Media Content Management Software which will manage the synchronization of various content on each and every Media Player
4. Xtreme Media Content Management Software loaded on the Central Content Management Server with the ability to control and schedule content on each Xtreme Media Player
5. LAN/WAN connectivity between every Xtreme Media Player and the Central Content Management Server

BANKING INDUSTRY
APPLICATIONS OF DIGITAL SIGNAGE FOR BANKING INDUSTRY
For the Banking Industry, Albertsons DMS Solution is a comprehensive corporate communication, marketing, promotion and advertising tool. A bank can deploy screens (LCD/LED/Plasma) along with Media Players in each branch or ATM centers. The Screens can be used for: Corporate Communication: To communicate Chairmans message, Quality Policy, Customer Service Guarantees etc. To display details various financial products being offered by the bank such as various loan schemes with corresponding interest rates, deposit schemes with corresponding interest rates etc. To display the various facilities offered by the bank or the particular branch, like debit card, internet banking, locker facility, gold coins, payment of Income Tax facility etc. To display branch timings, working hours, notification about bank holidays etc To promote allied financial products like life credit cards, insurance products, non-life insurance products, investment products like mutual funds, pension schemes etc. To display contact information of important bank officials like branch manager, vigilance officer, loan officers, complaint escalation matrix etc.
MY SNAPSHOT
I have visited some banks like state bankState Bank of Mysore zZonal office in Bangalore and sSyndicate bank with my mentor for marketing & sales of Digital Signages. My mentor educated me on the structure and decision making processes of PSU Banks for making purchase decisions and how to make sales pitch for the same. selling digital signage. There I gain the experience of how to deliver sales presentation how to gain the interest of clients for selling a very costly product worth 5-8 lakh.
RESTAURANT INDUSTRY
Albertsons digital signage is the perfect solution for advertising in restaurants and fast food chains. This allows targeting different demographics using the grouping and targeting features of this digital signage solution. With digital signage, restaurants have the ability to display menus, special offers, timeboundly menus like (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

As customers improve their understanding regarding the restaurant branches and different brands of the chain ,the business is more likely to experience an increase in the number of return customers. 2. Reduction in the number of staff required and a significant decrease in the overhead cost and associated costs (such as staff training). 3. Higher sales resulting from the improved order efficiency. 4. A positive perception regarding dining environment help to increase restaurant brand image.
MY SNAPSHOT
I have established contact with several of the restaurant chains like Pizza Corner, Kaati Zone, Mast Kalandar and Papa Johns and have got them interested in evaluating our solution to replace the backlit menu boards with our Digital Menu Boards. So far the response has been positive from most of the customers and we are sending product information in order to make a final presentation to the prospective clients followed by commercial proposals. I have done cold calling to many restaurants like Pizza Corner, Kaati Zone, MastKalandar and Papa Johns for selling digital signage and most of them show positive response regarding our product. From this I learn that AIDA theory of selling that we read in MBA is really applicable in real selling.

Digital Signage is a very effective campus communications system. It can be deployed in areas such as cafeterias, student lounges, reception areas, libraries and facility rooms, these communication networks provide a critical link between campus administrators and the students and faculty. A network of digital signage can be effectively used to coordinate content and delivery, providing a valuable aggregate effect that becomes a campus information system to deliver relevant content in the right place at the right time to the right audience.
APPLICATION
Display digital notice board. Showcase special events and congratulation message for the students who own prize/competition as a reinforcement of their success and enthusiasm. Display educational channels like VYAS, Gyan Darshan and Discovery science at a particular time of the day or week as extracurricular activity programs. Inter/Intra college news regarding competitions, fest, events etc... Publish emergency message on student/faculty issues, incoming company for placement. Canteen menus. Publish rules and regulations as a reminder for the students. Role of receptionist as a way finding map for different departments and blocks to assist new students, visitors and parents. Gain Revenue through Third Party Advertisements (way finding map for different departments and blocks to assist new students, visitors and parents).

I have done thorough research in finding potential customers in education Industry like international school and big colleges. I am going to deal with them soon.
