1.

Introduction

TireShop Inventory System is a software that will computerize todays tire shops inventory system i.e, all the records of the shop including tires, customers, orders, sales forms, sales invoices, order forms, order invoices, accounts, monthly and yearly profit, all of these can be saved and retrieved in no time. Today looking at the old system where all of these are either stored in registers or pads, or in computers but not in a systematic way, retrieving and saving them taking a lot of time. And if beacause of some reason the dealer for the time is not at his position the whole business is down for a while beacause for a normal person working there he doesnt know anything about what we have and how much we have.

2. 3.

Related Work Problems Identified

The current system working in the organisation of not computerised and all of it is a paper work. Which is difficult of store, keep and fetch when needed along with that its time consuming and requires more money as well, similarly one special labour is also required for the paper work and the main problem is that things are not accurate. Similarly if when old data is required a big procedure of searching has to be done, which wastes a lot of time.

4.

Proposed Solution

With our software the work of the organisation will not only be fast but accurate and less time consuming as well. With special forms of tire, customers, monthly profits and orders forms the work will be much easier, fetching, saving or adding new data will not take more than 5 minutes which is 10 times lesser than the old paper work system. Along with save of time, our accounts will also be accurate as all of the accounts procedures will be done by our software and profit on the monthly and years basis will be shown, the organisation will not have to order any special kind of pads for the reports of any kind i.e, purchase, sale, order monthly salary. The only things required would be some papers with a printer connected to the system and the reports will be printed by just pressing a button within no time.

5.

Key Stakeholders

The stakeholders for our system would be the dealer himself and some other staff members

6.

Required Infrastructure

a) Equipment /Other resources :

Equipment required for the system would be a PC/Laptop/Notebook along with a printer and some cables for the connection

b) Computer Hardware :
A normal PC/Laptop/Notebook with 1 Ghz Processor, 128 MB Ram, Hard disk depending upon how much data the organisation want to keep for the purpose of running software even a 4 GB hard disk would work.

c) Communication & Network :

A network between a printer and the PC/Laptop/Notebook would be required for the printing of recepts and other kind of reports.

7. Software Components /SubSystems
