Restaurant Managers Point of Sale function saves time and money by reducing errors and improving the efficiency of the wait and management staff. Servers spend less time totaling guest checks and routing orders and more time serving customers. The Point of Sale function, like all other Restaurant Manger functions, is extremely user friendly. Training time for employees is typically 15 minutes or less. The following is a list of only three key features in ASIs Restaurant Manager: 1. Three Modes of Operation: Table Service, Quick Service/Fast Bar and Delivery 2. Intuitive, User-Friendly Point of Sale Operations 3. In-House Accounts, Gift Cards and Gift Certificate Tracking Restaurant Manger can be tailored to the needs of each business. Each mode of operation can purchased as a separate module, thus reducing your investment. If youre a fine dining restaurant and dont deliver, you dont need to purchase the delivery module. The basic system comes standard with Time Clock, Labor Scheduling, multi-level pricing, on-screen guest check, and Restaurant Managers graphical user interface.
TABS
The Tabs Module allows you to start a Bar Tab or Take-out order by assigning the name of the customer to the order. You can type in the customers name on the touch screen terminal or use one of Restaurant Managers most valuable features by swiping the customers credit card. Restaurant Manager will automatically pickup the name on the credit card and the credit card number and hold it in the computer. So when its time to close the order and pay out the tab, you already have the credit card number for payment.
DELIVERY/TAKE OUT
With the Delivery function, you can enter customer information, recall their last order, track their purchases, and route their delivery. Coupled with Caller-ID, we can automatically recall the customer profile when the phone rings for a delivery order. The last order the customer placed is automatically displayed and the POS operator can select a re-order with one button push or change the order. Drivers can be assigned to deliver the order and are held responsible for the cash. And Restaurant Managers Pizza screen is one of the most flexible and easy-to-use on the market.

Guest Accounts
The most common use of accounts is for handling the sale on credit to pre-established customers. The customer is assigned an account number and he charges his purchases against this account. At the end of the billing period the establishment issues an invoice for all the charges incurred during the period. The account is settled upon receipt of payment. In this configuration the Restaurant Manager Accounts module allows you to establish credit limits to safeguard against overcharging the account.
Gift Certificates
Restaurant Manager can handle issuing and redeeming gift certificates by use of the Accounts module. Restaurant Manager generates a new account number for every gift certificate issued, applying a credit to the account for the face value of the Gift Certificate. Restaurant Manager can be configured to automatically generate the Gift Certificates numbers as well as to print the Gift Certificate on a designated printer.
