Restaurant Manager from ASI is a fully featured, Windows Based, Point of Sale and back-office system for the foodservice industry. Restaurant manager is well suited for nearly any foodservice business, including: fine dining, quick service, bars, cafeterias, home delivery, carry out, fast food and country clubs. The software runs on IBM PC compatible computers (open architecture) giving the end-user a wide choice of hardware to choose from. Restaurant Manager interfaces with touch screen terminals from all the leading manufactures including IBM, ELO and MicroTouch, well as regular keyboards, and supports a wide variety of industry standard receipt and kitchen printers. Restaurant Manager was originally developed in 1987 with the collaboration of a number of foodservice professionals, including owners, managers, cooks, servers and accountants. Over the years the product has evolved into one of the most comprehensive and user friendly systems available.

Intuitive, User-Friendly Point of Sale Operations


Restaurant Manager was designed to be intuitive and easy to use. The user interacts with Restaurant Manger through a graphical, touch screen interface at the Point of Sale and with a standard mouse in the back office. All of Restaurant Managers screens, menus and options are self-explanatory and require minimal training. And Restaurant Manager includes comprehensive on-line help. The user simply presses the designated HELP key and detailed instructions appear in a special help window. Below is an example of a standard order entry screen.

The Table Service Module gives you the ability to display a graphical layout of your restaurant with each table represented by style, size and location in the restaurant. As the tables are used, the color of the table is changed to reflect the status of the table: Available for Seating, Food has been Ordered, Multiple Checks Printed, Single Check Printed, Table needs to be bussed.

Restaurant Manager
Restaurant Managers Point of Sale function saves time and money by reducing errors and improving the efficiency of the wait and management staff. Servers spend less time totaling guest checks and routing orders and more time serving customers. The Point of Sale function, like all other Restaurant Manger functions, is extremely user friendly. Training time for employees is typically 15 minutes or less. The following is a list of only three key features in ASIs Restaurant Manager: 1. Three Modes of Operation: Table Service, Quick Service/Fast Bar and Delivery 2. Intuitive, User-Friendly Point of Sale Operations 3. In-House Accounts, Gift Cards and Gift Certificate Tracking Restaurant Manger can be tailored to the needs of each business. Each mode of operation can purchased as a separate module, thus reducing your investment. If youre a fine dining restaurant and dont deliver, you dont need to purchase the delivery module. The basic system comes standard with Time Clock, Labor Scheduling, multi-level pricing, on-screen guest check, and Restaurant Managers graphical user interface.

TABS
The Tabs Module allows you to start a Bar Tab or Take-out order by assigning the name of the customer to the order. You can type in the customers name on the touch screen terminal or use one of Restaurant Managers most valuable features by swiping the customers credit card. Restaurant Manager will automatically pickup the name on the credit card and the credit card number and hold it in the computer. So when its time to close the order and pay out the tab, you already have the credit card number for payment.

QUICK SERVICE/FAST BAR


The Quick Service function eliminates the need for the Cashier or Bartender to punch in and choose a table before the order is placed. This greatly increases the speed of operation and lets you serve more customers during peak hours.

DELIVERY/TAKE OUT
With the Delivery function, you can enter customer information, recall their last order, track their purchases, and route their delivery. Coupled with Caller-ID, we can automatically recall the customer profile when the phone rings for a delivery order. The last order the customer placed is automatically displayed and the POS operator can select a re-order with one button push or change the order. Drivers can be assigned to deliver the order and are held responsible for the cash. And Restaurant Managers Pizza screen is one of the most flexible and easy-to-use on the market.

Guest Accounts
The most common use of accounts is for handling the sale on credit to pre-established customers. The customer is assigned an account number and he charges his purchases against this account. At the end of the billing period the establishment issues an invoice for all the charges incurred during the period. The account is settled upon receipt of payment. In this configuration the Restaurant Manager Accounts module allows you to establish credit limits to safeguard against overcharging the account.

Gift Certificates
Restaurant Manager can handle issuing and redeeming gift certificates by use of the Accounts module. Restaurant Manager generates a new account number for every gift certificate issued, applying a credit to the account for the face value of the Gift Certificate. Restaurant Manager can be configured to automatically generate the Gift Certificates numbers as well as to print the Gift Certificate on a designated printer.

Prepaid Cards (or Gift Cards)


In this scenario, the account numbers are prerecorded on credit sized cards. The cards can be purchased (prepayment into the account) at the POS and then used to actually purchase goods and services from the establishment. This configuration avoids having to issue a voucher (gift certificate), and speeds up the sale process.

Now you can order pizzas from one screen. Simply select the Size and Crust type and then press the topping you want. You can select from a list of special pizzas or build the pizza by selecting the toppings individually. We support half and half pizzas and price by the most expensive half or the average. Deletes and topping changes are a snap! We also support Caller ID. When the phone rings, the number is looked up in your customer database and their name is displayed. Simply pickup the phone, touch the caller button and their last order appears. One touch automatically rings their last order or you can ring up a new order.
