Final OJT Report On my first week in Adefuin Design Studio, we were oriented about the things we need to do when

it comes to organizing and filing of books, fabrics and other swatches in the stock room, the different softwares they use in drafting, 3-D modeling and rendering such as autocad, intericad and google sketch up. On the same week , it was my first time to visit a site under construction in Infinity Tower, located at the Global City. I have observed that during the construction of the condominium, all workers were busy doing their own thing. Its a good e xperience for me because Ive learned a lot when it comes to built-in furniture like cabinets, shelves drawers and the different materials used in the furniture. On my second week, Ive learned the basic cost estimation. At first, you need to get the perimeter, the area and the ceiling height of the space to easily compute the amount of paint needed and know how many coatings are needed and the size it covers or when tiled wall or flooring, you need to find what size to use and how many pieces are needed and always remember its complementary products such as grout, tile adhesive and tile spacer, etc. and not only in tiles, also in paints and other products or materials youll use in that space. Within that week, we were also taught by arch. Ron the basic lesson in google sketch up and autocad such as different commands and how to use it, to easily navigate the drawing, externalreference for plan layout and dynamic blocks for different sizes of an object. On That week also, I was assigned to do the manual perspective of the One Roxas Triangle unit in dining and living area with an ultra-modern concept. On my third week, I started doing the ethanallen furniture pieces in autocad for three days and Ive learned the different styles used in every furniture piece like the queen-anne, hepplewhite,

chippendale. The next two days, I did some working drawings assigned by arch. Ron the floor plan, reflected ceiling plan, and plumbing plan and I did this also in autocad. On my fourth week, I started practicing the google sketch up in 3-D modeling of an interior space and later on, I started practicing v-ray too in rendering and Ive learned the different kinds of lighting tools for this software. The following day was ocular inspection in Infinity Tower, and Ive learned the different types of finishes , to name one type is the duco finish. On the next day, we went to the One Roxas Triangle Building at Makati and measured all the areas for the renovation of the space. On my last week, Ive finished the assigned task given by Sir Oliver and Idr. Jigs which is making the storage box for swatches. The next day was another ocular inspection in Infinity Tower and picture taking of the different areas. Ive also learned the material editor for different settings in sketch up. On the same week , I attended a seminar for fire prevention. The facilitators gave some tips and instruction for safety measures. In my 5-week stay with Adefuin Design Studio, Ive learned so much about important things which are all related to interior designing.
